Received food poisoning. Called restaurant - was treated poorly and with exempt. After arguing with the manager over a legitimate sickness after having dined there, I was hung up on afterwards. Very rude, very poor service would not dine here again, would give zero stars if possible. Reported to local Health Department as is protocol in these type of situations.

This could be so much more than it was! Our waitress took our order. She never even brought us any napkins. When the order was delivered to our table by someone else, other than her, only one of the orders was brought out. We had asked for some condiments on the side and never got those. When we told the person that only one order was theirs, she went back But never brought the missing order. Finally, I went to the back of the restaurant found a napkin and my husband and I shared the one order paid and left. Worst service ever!

I had the Fish & Chips. It was perfect! The fish was crispy & juicy and the French fries were great! ❤️

The servers aren’t very attentive and the food takes a very long time to come out. I had the Mac and cheese. It took about 25 minutes to get once I placed the order. I was only surprised since there were only 3 other tables in the whole place which is a decent size. It wasn’t bad, but a bit bland and in desperate need of salt at the bare minimum. If you plan to go, make sure to schedule plenty of time.

Nice restaurant in a historic building in downtown Staunton. Our waitress was very attentive and our food delicious. Had the best grits ever. There was live music, very talented lady on the guitar and Ukulele.

Ordered some pastries to go. Received the smallest ones in the case. Other lemon bars were twice the size as the one I got. Super annoying.

We enjoyed the appetizers and entrees we got. It was a nice setup and great atmosphere. Service was a little slow (we thought understaffed) but all of the servers were friendly working hard. We will return again!Parking: Parked on a side street.

We were visiting and excited to eat here as they had a great vegetarian selection. Got to the restaurant around 1pm on a Sunday. About half the tables wereEmpty. We were told they weren’t seating any more tables because their kitchen was overwhelmed.

We haven't eaten there. Because we walk in the door, stand and wait for about 5 minutes, then a girl gets up from the bar and slowly walks up to us and says in an annoyed and sarcastic voice "we close at 8 and we have a wait list so you wouldn't even get sat anyway" I may be wrong, but it didn't look busy at all and the couple behind us immediately got greeted with a happier tone and asked how they were doing. So not sure why we got greeted like that and didn't even ask what we were there for. I understand being busy, but the way she presented herself was highly unprofessional. We would love to come back as the menu looks good, but will immediately turn around if we see her in there. Not a great first impression for a place we've never been.

We popped by for a dessert about a hour before closing. Both items were okay, not fantastic. It didn't feel like either had been made that day and the flavors were pretty flat. Service was fairly lacking. The young woman working the front told us to let her know which item we wanted and then grab a seat. She got on her phone and it took almost five minutes until she looked up and came back to the front. When our desserts were brought out we had to also ask for waters. After those arrived we never saw her again and finally brought our plates up to a bar and another woman looking confused when to go find her so we could pay.

Don't let the name fool you, it's a dive bar with horrible wait times for a breakfast burrito in a place that had less than 10 people. I came here the other weekend to try it but they weren't open at their scheduled time due to "the cook not coming in". Avoid this establishment and maybe stick to more reliable sources of food in the Staunton area.

Tried to stop at another local spot while passing through town but that restaurant had a significant wait. We went a few blocks away to the Clocktower which was nearly empty. We were just looking for a quick bite and a drink after a long day on the road. We should have opted to wait at the first spot. Super disorganized, the bartender did not know how to mix drinks. Ordered a martini, it was a disaster. So then I ordered a glass of Malbec and was asked if I wanted it chilled,on the rocks or straight up?? Ordered a grilled cheese and a cup of soup which was on the specials menu. I mean, how do you F@#$ up a grilled cheese sandwich?? Not good. The few girls that were working were friendly, but it just felt like no one was in charge and it was everyone's first day on the job.

The food is excellent. The appetizer came out just minutes before our main course. The waitresses were not attentive as I’m used to.

I have not experienced eating there physically. The food is good, but I have attempted to order from them on doordash numerous times and not ONE TIME has it been correct. Either the food never arrives and when I call my driver they said that the order was cancelled (never was), or they just forgot to make things.
