This review is evidently being done to late due to the breweries closing date in March. It was saddening news to me as I have been coming here for close to 2 years now since my daughter has been at Mary Baldwin U. My family said they noticed I was saddened and a mood change when I heard the news of the closing.This has been my favorite brewery in the Staunton area after being to all of them. This is due to a combination of pets being allowed inside, always either having a food truck or pizza inside, great/friendly service, and of course...great beer.I am deeply sorry that your brewery did not succeed as you intended and that this review is likely pointless. Thank you for a great experience when I have visited.AND EVERYONE SHOULD TRY TO VISIT AT LEAST 1 MORE TIME BEFORE THE CLOSING.

Great beers and pizza. Outdoor area has lots of seating,fire pits on the weekend and Cornhole. Inside is clean, beautiful, ample seating, games and a very welcoming staff.

Great atmosphere & Friendly staff. My husband ordered the Dubbell beer which was delicious. I had wine while we waited for our hot honey pizza. This is the 2nd time we've done this. The pizza comes out so fast & is absolutely delicious.We'll be back,Peg & Chris

I understand this location is in a neighborhood but we are so glad and lucky they are here. Our home value has increased having an award winning brewery within walking distance. Thank you Skipping Rock for great beer, food, and atmosphere that has actually created equity in our home.

Great local beer. Kitchen serves pizza. Canned sodas, seltzers & water available for non-drinkers. Family & pet friendly with outdoor seating with corn hole, picnic tables, and fire pit. Local bands/outdoor entertainment. Very Friendly service!

Started going when they opened. Beer has declined in flavor and no longer have their best beer. Addition of Za Spot is great but don’t go as much anymore. Business seems to have picked up and the demographic is good but beer selection has changed to cater to that crowd.

Really like this brewery, they have some great beers and it is a very nice location, a little out of the way for non locals but worth the stop. Nice establishment with great outside seating area. Inside is really nice as well. Only reason I rated 4 out of 5 is the inconsistencies in their can beers. Sometimes the carbonation seems flat. Off the tap their beers are great. Worth the stop.

Beer was great. Loves the Hibiscus Lime Gros! We tried their special pizza and loved it. Pretty empty when we got there but seems like it could be a great meet up space.

Awesome Brewery/Taproom! Big space indoors and out! Family and Dog Friendly! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! I had the oatmeal stout…it was so much better than what I was expecting. ( I’m a Stout snob ) I also ordered the build your own pizza, I’m from Brooklyn, so I wouldn’t call it pizza… but it was in the style of Pizza Hut deep dish, and it was very good…well worth the 12.00, it’s says small, but big enough for 2 for sure! Place has a real welcoming vibe!

Fun place for a casual hangout. The beer is by far the best in the area, and all brews are consistently excellent. The New England IPA is my personal favorite, hard to find a better. more drinkable beverage. The recent addition of their own pizza is another draw. More like focaccia than pizza, but excellent nonetheless. Great atmosphere whether you're inside or outside. Very friendly and attentive staff.
