They have really nice fancy grilled cheeses and interesting recipes. Their wine selection is huge and they are really nice folks. We also had the cheesecake and the chocolate dessert and it was excellent.

Friends suggested if we were in Staunton that we had to stop at the Yelping Dog and get their grilled cheese. But it's much more than just that, they've got a nice selection of wines, ciders and craft beers as well as phenomenal charcuterie. Don't pass this place by.

What a gem! Delicious food and wine, amazing staff, great ambiance... what more do you need? I was shopping for wine and cheese when I sat down and looked at the menu. Ended up having "The Godfather" grilled cheese sandwich and some Viognier. Perfect and delicious! I recommend both of those, and I'll be back for sure.

My friends who live close by took me here for the first time. First of all, the servers were all so friendly, and the beer was delicious! I had the best grilled cheese I've ever had in my life. I had the #9 with gruyere cheese and caramelized onions. What a super place!

Great food and drink. There was a delay after we ordered which was explained to us as we waited. The owner even came out and apologized. We truly didn't mind but we could tell the staff was worried about it. It was worth any wait we had.

I had a nice dinner at Yelping Dog. Simple food—a cheese plate with gazpacho. The cheese selection was good and the cheese itself was fresh. The gazpacho was not great. But the restaurant is pleasant and the service was good.

This is a great little place for wines and food. It is casual, down to earth and good for party of up to maybe four. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I just happened to walk by and dive in. Had a Virginia cab and a small appetizer. They have wine tasting where money donated by customers are matched 100%.
Stopped for lunch on the way home from Florida it's the best. Meagan was the greatest it was slow so we had a chance to talk all sorts of things. Our lunch was fantastic the chefs did a great job. We will definitely be back...???
