Great time! Music was amazing. The band MFX performed that evening! The DJ was Hot after the band. They also had hookah service!

I was highly disappointed. We took my niece that had just flown in from Texas there to celebrate her birthday. I ordered the crab cake and it was cold in the middle so I sent it back. I was asked if I wanted to order something different so I order catfish and the waiter came back and asked if I wanted whiting or catfish. I ordered catfish only to be told that “the cook” said he wasn’t going to cook me anything else. So I said that you are telling me that you will not cook me anything else and he said that is right. The waiter apology, I asked for management and evidently the message came from management. Sorry service from the “kitchen”! Not to mention another guest with me ordered chicken and waffles and got two undercooked Eggo waffles and 3 chicken wings. We will no longer eat or recommend this establishment!

WONDERFUL! I had no idea they'd have drinks so that was a nice surprise. The fried pork chop, collards and Mac n cheese were PHENOMENAL. This is the first time I've had food in a long time that actually tasted flavorful. Will be back hopefully to enjoy the live music.

Their food was okay I had smothered pork chops candy yams and mac and cheese it's not baked like I would prefer so the only thing that was good to me was the drinks and the cornbread. Whoever made my drinks made a pretty strong which is way I like it

I don't even know where to begin with this review. First I tried to call my order in to limit my wait time. On the first call, they picked the phone up and literally hung up in my ear. Called back a 2nd time...no answer..decided to just go up there. I arrived at around 615pm.. I placed 3 simple orders: chicken wing dinner, shrimp dinner, and hamburger steak dinner all with cornbread...and two sides of yams..I was told it would take 30-35 mins to prepare...I was ok with that. At 650pm I checked on the order..was told a few more minutes...checked on it again at 7:00 was told it was being bagged up...another 5 minutes pass..we still don't have our orders. Finally around 715 they bring some orders from the back...I asked if this was my order and the waitress said she didn't know and walked away... 5 minutes later a different waitress comes over and says oh heres your order..she proceeds to open the boxes to show us the orders...there is no cornbread in any of the meals when we asked about the missing cornbread, we were told oh there isn't anymore ...like huh!! So They were gonna just pack the orders without telling us there wasn't any cornbread. Then we were also missing a side of yams...by 725pm..we were over the whole situation and just walked out and left..without any food after waiting for over an hour...the customer service at this establishment in non-existent. If you value your time dont go here.
It is sad that I have to give a bad review because the food is actually good, but the service in this establishment is really ridiculous. If you need more people to work, SAY THAT! HIRE SOMEBODY. If you say on the phone an order is going to take 25-30 minutes.... that's the expected time it should be done. Waiting on your food for over an hour is really beyond me..... One order is cold & the other is fresh out. I'm not happy about my order placed here at all. At this point... ima post the hiring sign myself.

Awweeefulllll greens old salty and over cooked you had a choice of roll or cornbread but really no choice u get a roll that come out a bag! No seasoning on bake chicken it was boiled not baked! Gravy came out of a can mac and cheese had to been stoffers brand bland with no crust on top just nasty and it suppose to be home cooking?in a hometown city wea they do that at. I do not recommend this place to anyone or there dog.

While the food is good the service is horrible!! I called in an order and was told it would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived to pick up in 30 minutes and the food had not even been prepared and I had to wait an additional hour and twenty. As much as I love to support local businesses I will no longer be a patron at this establishment. When I asked about any compensation for having to wait I was given a flat out "no" from the person in charge with no consideration for the circumstances and was told to either take the food or leave it and get a full refund! I will say I appreciate how polite the worker was that was the middle man during this interaction, he was genuinely apologetic

I'm visiting from California and decided to stop here randomly. BOY if that wasn't the best decision I made all year. I'm a lil upset COVID restrictions are a thing right now, because its midnight and they're closed. BUT if they weren't closed right now, I would make an hour drive up there from elizabeth city right NOW for their pork chop dinner.

The rib special definitely hit the spot. Looks like I already scarfed down a rib before taking this photo.Corn bread came with, so could get two other sides.The chicken wing? Just finished a 9 mile hike and was hungry.... Yep, they'll sell you a wing and it was good.Dining in is open, place is immaculately clean to include the restroom. If only they had unsweetened ice tea I'd give 6 stars.
