My boyfriend and I went for dinner around Christmas time of 2023. I ordered the salmon, while I was eating it I noticed it was extremely raw. So the waiter took it back. Then I got my salmon to go because I was getting full. We had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and they were good. When I go to eat my salmon. It’s burnt!!! Unbelievable. I spent 70 dollars for either raw or burnt salmon. I’ll never return.

Some friends took me there for supper a few nights ago and everything about the front porch was excellent. The food, the service, the ambulance, everything. I had a steak which was delicious. It was too big but I was able to bring about half of it home to eat the next night. You can't do better than that!

We loved this place. Service was first rate and food was delish. Not a five star, bc I’m a foodie from the city, but it was definitely satisfying and more like 4.5 stars. Great cocktails for sure. Try their dirty martini or smoked Old Fashioned. Thanks, Kim, for the great service!

Old house in downtown Tazewell converted into a restaurant. The food could be better I'm afraid. The chicken kebabs were mostly peppers interspersed with slightly undercooked chicken.

Food was cold, but the potato soup was good. The waitress was rude. It was my son birthday he is 33 and he didn't bring his ID . The waitress refuse to serve him a drink, which was fine. His girl friend ordered Long island iced tea. She took a drink and then ask him to try the drink, because it was so bad. He took one sip of the drink. The waitress came later grabbed the drink, and screamed ,"I told you can't have a drink." You could plainly see the glass was still full. They explained that he took one to taste how bad it was. Like this was one of the worst experiences , I have ever had in any restaurant. We ask to speak to manager and she yelled she was the manager. We ask,"Could we speak to someone else?" The chef/owner came to speak to us. We explained that we just wanted to have dinner for his Birthday! We paid the entire bill and left a tip! We won't be back!
Anything antique or vintage. Home decor, books, old-time candy and drinks. Frequent turnover of items, so if you don't get it today it may be gone tomorrow.

We had a really good filet mignon, mushrooms, and spinach one evening and an excellent chicken salad sandwich one lunch. Nice out door front porch tables. The staff for both meals were excellent. At lunch our party of 16 was handled flawlessly. The Front Porch is right in the center of town.

The food was really decent but we had a party of 7 and I got a $24 steak and a $11 dollar beer and somehow my check was $57! The waitress tacked on a 18% gratuity for a party of 10 guest but we only had 7 people! The numbers just don’t add up so that’s the last chance to get any of my money!
