Asian Origin

Yet another delayed review on my end, but I am finally getting around to it! Asian Origin is, so far, one of the better Chinese restaurants I've tried in the area. I was blown away by the authenticity and flavors they had. I think I heard the chef was Szechuan-nese (me too!), and the authentic flavors really shone through! Had take out from Asian Origin, it was outstanding. Best Chinese in DC. We used the groupon and had a feast with 5 courses. Everything used fresh ingredients and the spicing was very nice. Loved everything. they also packed everything well for take out and seemed very covid careful, We will be back

Bought a Groupon for this place and got Option A which was plenty for a group of 4 adults. Restaurant is currently take out only, seamless order and pickup during COVID. The food was a 4/5, typical Chinese American cuisine. A little salty and the fried rice was a bit soft for my taste. The Mongolian beef was better than the general tso chicken. Sesame balls were really good. The milk tea bubble tea was pretty good. Warm style and tastes a bit chocolatey.
