Trying out new coffee spots. Found this place online. Nice atmosphere. Has plenty of tables and nice size space. Chai was ok, not my favorite. Hubby felt his large coffee in a regular coffee mug wasn’t big enough. Will try a coffee next time.

Great coffee, and very nice staff — for me I think that makes the difference between these guys and the staff around the corner at the larger neighborhood coffee shop. Highly recommend you try The Viennese.

I stopped by this coffee shop recently. The decor is a bit tired with old unattractive furniture but the service is extraordinary. The owners are definitely trying hard to satisfy their customers with a great cup of coffee. However, as a latte enthusiast, I am a little skeptical about their claims of house-made syrups. Unido, Compass and so many places around the DMV have house-made syrups and it's easy to tell. The latte I got tasted of synthetic, off-the-shelf syrup. I wish the owners best of luck and hope they become super successful, but the syrup just wasn't for me, latte tasted like someone had added floral essence to sugar and milk, and tasted too much like a chemical.

I went yesterday for the first (and last) time with a friend of mine. I ordered a decaf mocha. I told the man behind the counter at least 3 times that I wanted a decaf, not a regular coffee. I didn't sleep at all last night because, you guessed it, he gave me regular coffee. My heart was beating fast and hard. I cannot handle regular coffee. This is a COFFEE shop specializing in coffees. How can the guy get the order wrong? It's not a McDonald's that sells other things besides coffee and the cashier might make a mistake and give you a regular when you order a decaf. I can't go to work today because I had a sleepless night. I've lived in the Town of Vienna for over 45 years and will tell my friends and family not to go here.

I can't express enough how delightful my recent experiences at 29th have been during my business trip. The staff at this charming establishment are not only skilled at their craft but also exude warmth and hospitality, making each visit a truly pleasant one.They have a wonderful selection of pastries and caffeinated libations. On my first visit, I opted for the Rose Latte, and it was a delight. The subtle floral notes added a unique touch to the smooth espresso, making it a standout choice. I also had an Almond Croissant, which was flaky and nutty. My second visit was equally satisfied enjoying the Pumpkin Spice Latte and a Salted Caramel-filled Pastry. The combination was nothing short of WOW. The salted caramel-filled pastry was a perfect balance of sweetness with buttery pastry.Without a doubt, 29th has become my go-to spot for a caffeine fix when I'm in the area
