The ambiance of the restaurant is romantic, with flower bouquets and beautiful paintings. For the appetizers that we ordered, the portions were very small but the food was good. The duck confit was sweet, the ravioli sauce was great, the french onion soup was standard, and the crab cake sauce was delicious but very small. Free desert came with small samples of chocolate mouse and raspberry cake.

Wonderful restaurant with first class food and service. We were made to feel very welcome and accommodated by the host and service staff. We will be returning again soon, as this is one of our new favorite French restaurants.

Great host and service. Enjoyed the eggplant parm and seafood sampler appetizers, and filet and lamb shank entrees. The dessert sampler was the perfect amount and tasty. Wine list was great and not over priced. We will return

We have been dining at Cafe Renaissance for years. This was our first visit since Covid. As usual we were welcomed warmly and seated at a lovely table with flowers, though there are no bad tables in this pretty and romantic dining room. There were multiple dinner options. Our table of four selected four different entrees and all were delicious. The chef even came out and chatted with us. Our waiter and supporting staff were very attentive and sweet. Another lovely experience and why we keep coming back.

Dinner last night was amazing! Syed, the owner remembered us from our first visit in November- almost 3 months ago! He and the staff were very friendly. We were never rushed to make our dinner choices and were even encouraged to take our time. The wine was superb. The meal was perfectly cooked. We both had the filet mignon which was a perfect medium rare. We were entertained by Syed's skill in creation of our Irish coffee! Syed also treated us with complimentary dessert, Port and Marsala. It was a fantastic experience again! Needless to say we will be going back again soon!!

Pros: staff were very friendly and fun, ambiance was very cozy. The snails were pretty tasty. Lots of yummy bread. Cocktails were delicious.Cons: As soon as we sat down, we noticed that one of the wine glasses had a huge crack in it. Then we noticed 2 ants crawling across the raspberries that were sitting on top of my drink. The foie gras was quite overcooked and tasted like something from a can. The seafood angel hair was very mushy and tasted well… like chinese takeout food. The crème brûlée was also totally cold, chunky at the top, and then liquid at the bottom. Not sure if this was just an off night because i’ve heard many great things about this place prior, but we unfortunately did not have a great experience. For quite an expensive meal, we certainly expected better quality from the food.

We had chicken breast, duck, and scallops. Along with sides. The green beans were great. Scallops were delicious. The service was okay. It was kind of careless. We got served the wrong drinks twice. I'd go back, in hopes of better service.

Authentic French spot that I struggle to call a "restaurant" because coming here is an experience that can not be encapsulated by the food alone First off, the host of the place is extremely gregarious and jokes around with all of the patrons. He even pulled up a seat to one of the tables near ours to chat with the diners lol Also, the place is extremely regally decorated. From the portraits coving the walls to the ornate silverware and dining ware, the vibe here makes you feel like you are eating at a place. As far as the selection goes, they have a comprehensive menu of wine, cocktails, and food options. They also have a tasting menu, but we did not try it I opted for the "French Martini", a French onion soup, and a fillet. It was all totally delicious. We also got complimentary sourdough bread (+ butter) that was so delicious we took it home with us. Additionally, they also gave us a complimentary small portion of dessert! The servers were all very friendly, but the service was very slow and we ended up being there for almost 2 hours. I also did not have my water refilled for about 1.5 hours of the 2. Additionally, the lid to the to-go box that they gave my GF was dirty (luckily we noticed this before putting it on her food), and, although I struggle to complain about a complimentary dessert, there was a huge hair that was baked into my creme brûlée. I get that stuff happens, but this thing was comically big

Saeed offers an amusing and idiosyncratic welcome to an establishment which seems a bit of a throwback in time. The music is enjoyable French classics from the 60s and 70s. Service was very hospitable and welcoming for a special event. Food was tasty although creams and sauces were unremarkable. No doubt one of the best choices for Vienna.

Our dining experiences at Cafe Renaissance are always so wonderful. We have dined here for nearly 25 years and have never been disappointed. The cuisine and service is so pleasant. We are always made to feel so welcome!

Our experience was so awesome. Our guests were so impressed, which of course, made us feel that we had made the right choice. From the minute you enter their gracious owner greets you with a warm smile, you take in the lovely ambience, enjoy their wonderful service, indulge in their fine food, and you definitely walk away with a huge smile on your face. Ocean, their head chef is just fabulous. His cuisine is extremely impressive. Don't miss an eating experience like Cafe Renaissance.

Visited for Valentine’s Day. Very disappointed will not return. Cramped location, understaffed. Waited to be greeted to the point of feeling uncomfortable. When we were sat at the table I noticed the napkin and fork were dirty. No one came for over 10 mins to offer water or bread. Finally received water that splashed all over the table. Then someone came with menu, but it was limited selection like a prefix. Still no bread. Also instead of coming to get our drink order first, they waited and came to get entire order at once. There was also no one to speak to us about the wine list. Finally bread came. When the salad came, it was obvious the beats were from a can and the goat cheese was just a sliver. The steak was OK, the green beans were cooked well and whatever potato item was fine as well.I really felt like this place was going to meet expectations of fine dining as it’s advertised, but I’ve had better meals and service at outback.
