I wish I can rate this store with aero star. The foods are mediocre. The service is the worst that we had met in all the restaurants in the US. The guy, Harsha, is a racist towards us without providing any service and has a very bad attitude! It is a bad restaurant and never go to the store again!

I would give 0 stars for the service if I could. Rude customer service , the order was literally made for the sake of making as we paid for it - the drinks were inconsistent - one had sugar added one did not, we ordered for a dish which they never brought out and after waiting for long when I enquired about it the staff comes to say that the counter was closed which they could have informed beforehand. There was negligence in serving us. More importantly, when we came in and asked to take a preferred seating area the staff was rude about it and was sighing when we took up a table we wanted while handing out the spoons which made us feel uncomfortable right from the start. The closing time is 10pm but once the other customers left and it was just us, they stopped the music, acted like we were unwanted and had to leave when it wasn’t even closing hours therefore making us extremely uncomfortable and ill treated. Never coming back and never recommending. Also my personal opinion, but I felt the staff was racist towards people of Indian background. The food was also extremely average.

Unfortunately, the food was bland, there was a fly in the dining area, and they were out of lemonade. Our waiter was nice though.

The staff was very unwelcoming and inhospitable. The girl at the reception was kind but the waiter was rude and the food was not up to the mark.

Been coming here since the late '80s, even before I became vegetarian in '92. Have introduced friends and family to it over the years, and even the non-vegs loved it. Sunflower was one of the last restaurants in Vienna and surrounding area to resume in-house dining following covid. Since reopening, however, the taste has been noticeably different (and not for the better). It was only upon my 2nd post-covid visit that I learned ownership had changed; and so has my allegiance. Have found other veg/vegan alternatives in northern VA.

We just came here for Valentine's Day for the first time tonight. The food was magnificent! We loved the Age Tofu as our appetizer. The orange sauce tasted really fresh that came with the tempura eggplant and veggies. The Hong Kong tofu was so yummy and the veggies were fresh. The Singapore street noodles were a great entree to split with our other two entrees. Very tasty spices used, and all of the dishes seemed flavors and ingredients seemed intentional and not simply thrown together. Recommend this place for anyone who loves cruelty-free, fresh food. We look forward to our next visit!Vegetarian options: Tons of amazing vegetarian and vegan options

I think this is my first negative review of a place….Very saddened to see the free fall in customer service, and also good quality. Been going here since 2007 (Falls church location, which has since closed, and this one in Vienna). Used to be a wonderful friendly place with very high quality food under Tony and Maggie. Management changed, quality dropped (the peanut sauce for the cold basil roll has tasted sour several times, and they had been told about it also) and prices went up. I guess the final nail for us was when the person answering the phone today very curtly said We won’t make any substitutions anymore’ - what we asked for (again for the last 15 years and even last month) was a change to the base of a soup from one to another. No reason given. Anyhow, maybe your policy changed, maybe the person didn’t want to do it. Whatever the case, you have lost a long time loyal customer who made it a point to stick with you during Covid to ensure we did our part for a local small vegetarian business. And with us 6 other families at least. Good luck with your business.

Kid-friendliness: The place is not welcome kids. For they need space for other customers. The waitress was not kind when I mentioned the table for 2. I love the place and have been with them almost 10 years from Falls Church to Vienna. I always come by my self. And until today I discover that the place vegan/veg like this carry this kind of energy in the restaurant.

The sushi and wonton soup were amazing. But the paneer dishes were both undercooked. The vegetables also seemed kind of bland. It was an okay experience.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian.
