We had a wonderful experience once again at Mama Tigre's for our dinner Friday. I had a cheese and onion enchilada. Katrina made my request for queso instead of the red sauce easy peasy. It just seemed like what I wanted and boy was it all so good. I had the twister for a drink. So delicious. The chips and salsa the best. Go hungry folks cause you are gonna just enjoy it all so much! Good food and good service! All around such an enjoyable evening so much appreciated after a long hard work week. It all melted into a relaxing fun evening and a happy full belly. It's so pretty inside too! The art all around... very nice! Thank you Mama Tigre! The Campopiano's will be back!

Delicious lunch today. When you're seated, they bring you fresh tortilla chips, and a very good salsa. I had lunch chicken fajitas, and there was plenty. The chicken pieces were fresh, moist, and flavorful. The rice had a lot of flavor as well, which i don't usually say in Mexican restaurants. My husband had the chicken tikka tacos which is an Indian/Mexican fusion dish. He loved it. Came with two large naan tacos., and a fruit salsa he loved!Service was excellent. Recommend!

This place only opened about a month ago and i gotta say, i actually do like it. the interior was like really bright and modern. we came during happy hour and there was a slight confusion. we ask the host if this table has happy hour which is usually at the bar and i think there was a miscommunication he said yes but then the waiter was confused when we ordered drinks off the happy hour. but it was really nice of him to tell us since it wasn't our fault and there was confusion he gave us happy hour prices. the drinks were either really sweet or strong. the 4 dollar tequila shots were about a shot and a half so that was awesome. the house margaritas was actually on point. the food we got crazy corn which was ok, the nacho was a little on the small size as well for 11 dollars. the jalapeno poppers was good! the lamb biraria(?) was meh to me but my friend liked it. my other friend got the 3 tacos which i think she liked. my girl got the tamale and she honestly wasn't impressed. i got the fajita burritos which was quite large and i liked it a lot. The service was ON POINT like my waiter was super nice and we asked him plenty of questions and he answered it all and was super patient with us since we asked a lot about the menu. i believe the owner or manager came around and he was nice and made sure everything was good.honestly i would come back for happy hour.

Fairfax finally has a legit awesome spot for Birria Tacos and Chicken Mole ..Thank you mama for bringing this area some legit eats !!The Birria is one of the most flavorful and richest birria that I have tasted in the area and so happy that I dont have to be a Little Taco Miner to get some ;-) The birria consume here is deep and rich and full of flavor and coats everything and anything you dip into this bath of deliciousness. The chicken mole is the most authentic that I have tasted in the area and compares to the moles you find on the west coast out of the mom and pop places .. I will definitely be back for more eats here and will try everything on the menu with the birria consume lol

3 friends and I for brunch Sunday, noonish - outside under umbrellas, was very pleasant. The food was delicious - there is a perfect amount of Indian fusion to this Mexican cuisine. The jalapeno poppers had spinach in them as well as cheese -- and mango chutney and crema for dipping. Delicious. Salmon tacos were excellent as well as the chicken quesadillas and guacamole. The Bloody Mary was delicious without having so much salad in it. The pina coloda - maybe more of a dessert - delicious. Sangria was also excellent.

My new favorite place in the Vienna area! The decor is gorgeous - hip with classic references to the culture featured in the cuisine. Staff is very friendly - I even met the owner on our first visit! Now the best part - the food! A very big menu, organized with lots of options - small plates, more classic Mexican-style plates, veggie plates, drinks. We chose the ceviche, the poblano chile dish with paneer cheese, and the fish tacos with tikka masala. It was a lot of food! The Mexican rice, fruit salsa, and black beans served with the two larger dishes were very tasty. The fish tacos - wonderful. Fish cooked perfectly, and the sauce was very flavorful. The ceviche was perfect - classic. The poblano chile was rich and hearty, with a mole flavor. Also, chips and salsa offered at the start. Chips were delicate and not greasy. Yum. Salsa was very good. Desserts looked great, but alas, no room in the tummy. We sat outdoors on a perfect evening and enjoyed the sunset. An excellent experience and I can't wait to

I was missing Tequila Grande and finally made it over to Mama Tigre last night... I may like it even more! The food and drinks were delicious. Friendly staff. Nice decor. And I felt totally comfortable with the way they're socially distancing. Great job, Mama Tigre!

This place has THE BEST Jumbleia every ! They used to own a run doing Mexican place in Vienna so i was afraid to go... HUGE difference. Unique menu, if you get the opportunity to go i highly recommend it.

Really creative menu and fantastic food. If you read the chef's background, the menu makes perfect sense. I carried out the masala enchiladas and the skillet chimichanga. Both were terrific but the enchiladas were memorable (the salsa was great too). I am looking forward to exploring more of the menu.My only request is that they let you order the tacos a la carte. There are so many that sound terrific but I don't want to commit to just one kind. Like the other reviews, the service is still a work in progress. I can't imagine nailing great service for a new restaurant much less during Covid so they get a big pass... just know it is a work in progress, be patient and enjoy the food.

We ordered takeout last night, and the food was delicious! I was excited about the Indian/Mexican fusion dishes. However, we only ordered one, and I am dying to try out the others next time. We ordered the pollo en mole rojas (it was not too sweet, had deep flavor, and good portion size), tigre tikka wings (very flavorful and came with two dipping sauces, I preferred the sweet habanero to the yogurt "raita" style dip), and the passionate mezacal (super smokey, and very good.) for a drink. Super happy that they are doing cocktails to go! They also included complimentary chips and salsa, which was a nice touch. My husband said the place was packed to the brim on a Friday night. It was almost like there was not a pandemic going on, smh! So I suggest if you are in the category of wanting to feel safe, go off-peak hours, or order to go. They are now taking phone orders, and also you can order via Grubhub. We will definitely be back as there are numerous items on the menu that I am dying to try out.
I came here with a friend for lunch, and was overall satisfied with the experience. I heard this place just opened up, and was excited to try some new Mexican food. The atmosphere is really nice and clean, and I liked the painting and decorations on the walls. The pricing is ok, but not amazing, so I decided to order a lunch entree. I got the lunch combo with 1 tamale, and the portion size was definitely worth it. The flavors were all decent, and I personally thought the beans were especially flavorful. My friend got the lunch burrito, but it was tiny and overpriced for the amount. I did appreciate the chips and salsa though. While our waiter wasn't super engaging or helpful, this is a pretty nice restaurant and I would recommend coming here for a nice atmosphere!

Highly recommend! We went with a group of 6 people, everyone got something different and everyone really liked their meal!We also got a few appetizers: Jalapeño Poppers, Nachos and Guacamole. Everything was great! We'll definitely be back and are happy to have this new restaurant in the neighborhood.

This place really hit the spot. Totally off the wall fusion for me, but it definitely works! I got the Masala Enchiladas, sounded out there, and I'm glad I did. Good amount of heat and the spicy quest on top was excellent. The chips and salsa were great too. Definitely coming back for happy hour!

This place is amazing! We stopped in on a whim and now plan on being regulars. The food is INSANELY GOOD, and it's nice to eat someplace that puts a spin on the same old Tex Mex you find everywhere. The flavor combinations and ingredients are far more sophisticated than you'd find at your average Mexican place, but the food is still comforting and the atmosphere is festive. This restaurant is new and very clean. The décor creates a lovely ambiance and the menu had enough choices to please kids, adventurous eaters, vegetarians, and picky eaters who like more simple flavor combinations. Everyone in our group walked away really pleased with how their meals came out. I highly recommend this place.

Tequila Grande was one of our favorite spots and when they moved and changed names I was worried it would lose the things we love, but they're all still there! Outdoor seating, great margs, best chips and salsa, favorite menu items, good service - but now in an updated place that's bright and clean!
