Been coming here when on vacation for 8 years, have always looked forward to coming here. but went there tonight, and got seated right beside the live singer they didn't have advertised. within 5 minutes me and my daughter had to walk out with crippling migraines while the rest of our family tried to enjoy their food. they bring my food out in a box for me only to get home and discover mold on my burger bun. it's turned into a glorified bar for adults. don't even have the machines to go on the dock and have kids feed the fish and the turtles anymore. between the extremely loud music, mold on my food, and the environment they have changed into we will never be back and will find a different local restaurant to go when on vacation. especially for spending well over $200 for a meal.

This was the first time visiting. Service was slow. Family seated about 15 mins after us was waited on and received drinks before we did. Owner realized and tried to correct. When finally getting food it was cold. Had to ask for a box and tab as no one was checking on us. When paying was asked if I wanted a lid for my drink. Never came back with one and walked right by us and just said goodnight. Will not be coming back. Service was horrible and it was not busy.

Waited for over an hour for a table for 2, which we agreed to. Then waited 15 minutes, no sever. They seem to be more concerned about large parties. Very disappointed. Don’t waste your time and gas to get to this place .

Our first time experience was so nice while on vacation! The staff was friendly, food was great and portion size was good ! We really liked the outdoor ambience too. I definitely recommend this place :)

Amazing, relaxed environment that is family friendly. Food is beyond good! highly recommend their fried shrimp, even their sides are so good! Brownie sundae makes a perfect dessert- warm, melty and I'm told homemade. Also, their sweet potato biscuits are a must try! Service is great, too!

I had high hopes for the Mother’s Day buffet at Blue Pete’s Restaurant, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. At $29 per person (plus an automatic 20% gratuity), I expected a well-organized event and decent quality food—but what we got was far from it. We waited over two hours to be seated, and once we were, the buffet was underwhelming and poorly stocked. The service was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced—slow, inattentive, and unprofessional. Even the coffee was served cold, which summed up the whole experience. What was supposed to be a special day was completely ruined. I wouldn’t recommend this place for any special occasion, let alone something as important as Mother’s Day.

Blue Pete's is one of a kind! Situated on a beautiful, sprawling property surrounded by nature, it doesn't feel like your average restaurant! Inside, outside, bar, and take-away dining options are available. Check their calendar for all kinds of weekly events. Bring the family and let the kids run in the giant sand pit while you dine! The staff are top notch, and every menu item is beautiful and delicious! Also, they are a great venue for special events! Call for more information. Don't miss out on this "local secret"!!

I don’t know how I forgot to take pictures. But the atmosphere outdoors was very peaceful. We went there on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm. We ordered tuna bites, crab cake and fried shrimp. They were good. We’ll come back to try their brunch.

Kid-friendliness: Good empty field by the water, sand, showel, cornhole. But you know, by the water. You need to keep your eye on them all the time.

Asked for the cheeseburger without bacon. They brought me a burger without anything at all. Well done was burnt on the outside. Fries were good. That was it.

The food is top tier and the view is very pretty. Highly recommend. Fried shrimp is some of the best I’ve had. Great service too. However, it is pet friendly, so there are some idiots who bring their dogs without leashes. Dogs lashing out at other people, dogs, and almost saw a fight between two dog owners. Not the best place for people who don’t want to hear yapping and growling as they eat.
