SADLY, The Maple Tree has been COMPLETELY DESTROYED BY FIRE This occurred July, 11, 2023 No one injured, but owners, Reino & Roula Lindross are devastated.

Here on vacation. My kids loved this place from before. The food was good but you have to fight the flies in order to eat it. Our meals consisted of waffle, veggie omelets, and French toast. I don't have to go back but my girls plan too.

If you want a delicious breakfast, come here. I was craving pancakes, and these were the best I've ever had. Light, fluffy, and oh-so delicious. I overheard the woman next to me saying the waffles were delicious, too.Appears to be family owned and operated, which is always a plus.

Wow.. this team had serving the masses down to a science. Food was delish, very short wait. And the lady that handed out lollipops upon exit was precious.

Nice place. A little higher priced than I expected. The food was good, but everything seemed a la carte. A sign on the window indicated that home fries would come with an omelette, but this was not the case and we had to order them separately. I wouldn't consider this to be $, more like $$ or $$$, $78 for 4 people with tip.

This is a decently sized diner, and a table is normally available. Which is good because you should try this place. I was in Virginia Beach for about a week and this was my favorite place for breakfast. The food is a fair price and you get a healthy portion. I really enjoyed the service, the staff us very friendly.

These positive reviews have to be fake. This was one of the worst dining experiences. Our waitress completely ignored us. Food took forever, to the point we almost left. The pancakes were cold sponges. We were told we couldn’t have a bacon omelet. The side of bacon we got was 3 shriveled up little things. We had to ask other servers for water and more coffee. Finally the prices are outrageous for the food you get. Do yourself a favor and go to Pocahontas instead where there is delicious food, huge portions and the best wait staff.

Let me start off by saying that they were very busy and we had a party of 14. We were seated fairly quickly but it took an hour for us to get our food. In that time our drinks weren't filled. Once our food came it was pretty good. I appreciate that most plates had pancakes as a side option. The portions were generous and everyone left full. Good pancakes, huge and tasty omelets, and good waffles. The steak was overcooked.

Perilous breakfast. Fake pancakes that require a lot of force with a knife to cut, due to its rubbery, spongey feel. Put in your mouth and it immediately clumps up into a sticky, doughy mass that is anything but fluffy and is very hard to swallow because it clumps up into a ball. They use the cheapest chopped, salted ham for their western omelet - inedible. Coffee is undrinkable. How they can ruin something as simple as breakfast is a mystery.

The prices for the food are incredibly inflated based on location. That's expected for the area, but the food was not great. I don't mind paying high prices, & expect it as a tourist location, but also expect the quality to match. $14 for a very basic veggie omelet made with powdered eggs & served with toast, as well as $12 for 2 biscuits topped with packaged sausage gravy, served with no sides, kids drinks were the same price as adult drinks at $3.50, $4 for a child's chocolate milk. The service was poor as well. I'd skip this one. For 3 breakfast meals & 1 extra side, we paid almost $70. Again, I don't mind paying the price, but the food should at least match in quality.

Maple Tree Pancakes is wonderful and always a pleasant experience everytime. I’ve been here twice this week 2 days in a row and came back and requested Ali. Ali is simply amazing, pleasant, professional and always punctual. I never have to ask him for anything. Ali work ethic is impeccable… I will definitely return again and if you’re in the Virginia Beach oceanfront area, I recommend you come to Maple Tree pancake house as well!!!!!!!

Saturday morning breakfast with my daughters…seated quickly and a good cup of coffee poured. Our waitress evidently forgot us, so after 10 minutes I asked another to take our order. Pancakes, omelettes and biscuits with gravy were ordered along with a side of home fries. The pancakes were the star of the show, omelettes were a good accompaniment and B&G’s pretty average. Overall, food was very respectable, very friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
