When it comes to Chinese food, you must take caution. Luckily this place not only has the nicest staff, their food if made fresh when you order and with love.. Their prices are affordable and they give you more than what you pay for, which is always an added bonus!!??When you want Authentic Chinese food, it must be prepared from people of that origin!! ?

I could help but noticed the name of this Chinese restaurant (take-out) - New. Surprised!!!!!!! The Bruce Springsteen song "Glory Days" fits the bill. Not "New" but rather has seen it's glory days. Anyhow, I came for a meal and not the physical appearance. This place offers several meal combos that starts around $5, $6, and up. Reasonable, compared to other Chinese restaurants in the Va. Beach area. The serving amount is just right. Can easily fill two people. I must admit the taste of the beef with mushrooms & fried rice, beef with broccoli & fried rice, and Singapore noodles are similar to the flavor of the Chinese restaurant that I frequently visit in Williamsburg. Not too salty, oily, and plentiful. Food is good but the place needs updating.

Rice was old and the grease the wings were fried in wasn't fresh either. I took a few bites and threw it out. Not sure whats going on there but it used to be pretty good .

Had the honey party wings and fries. It was alright but not something I'd order again. My stomach reacted badly to it as well. Their Chinese food is better
