Sakura Poke Bowl & Sushi

Rainbow roll was hot. They claimed it was bc they but the Raw meat over hot rice, either way ended up throwing it out because I didn’t want to get sick. They didn’t even try and make it right. Will never return to the Lynnhaven Mall location.

I picked this restaurant solely based off of reviews from google. Beware. Do not come here if you’re hungry. Absolutely worst experience. We were seated quickly, as the restaurant was only half full. We came at lunch time, and ordered for four adults and waited for our ticket to be fulfilled for an hour and fifteen mins. Yup, waited over an hour for 6 sushi rolls. The waitress kept going to the bar to find out what happened, but every time she just said it wasn’t ready yet. We had watched every other table receive their food before us, including people that were seated after us. Once we got the food you could visually tell it was rushed together. The rolls were falling apart, not pressed tightly, and the fish was not cut well. The staff (owner/manager) did not offer any apology for the bad experience. As for me, I will not be back.

Absolutely my favorite Poké bowl of all times! I would go so frequently that when I walked up to the counter they automatically knew my order! But I went there today & they are shut down, totally closed ?? Did you guys move somewhere else? I will follow ??

I got the mixed fish poke bowl with everything it comes with and it was amazing! Rice was perfect and everything tasted very fresh!

To his place is great! Friendly people and great sushi. The fried dumplings are amazing.

The workers were so kind and the food was AMAZINGG. They even talked ab anime with us. Food SLAPSSSS 10/10 would recommend

I visited the Sakura stand in the Lynnnhaven Mall on my first visit there. I tried the tempura shrimp poke bowl for the first time and enjoyed it immensely. The bowl was fresh and delicious!

So glad this is near my house. We don’t eat sushi a lot but when we do, this is the spot! You definitely get your money’s worth here with very reasonable prices considering what you get. They have a large selection and “made to order”. The portion sizes are HUGE AND DELICIOUS! I’ve never been disappointed with the food. Lunch time is the deal though. Tonight, we went (Friday) and it was jammed packed and a bit chaotic. We ended up snagging a couple seats at the bar and that helped but it was a madhouse. It took a bit of time to get the food but I was actually ok with that as it allowed time for some digestion versus me stuffing my face and not being able to walk out! You get so full that it actually hurts ? The bar area could use a little attention like straightening the TV and cleaning empty plates in a timely manner, and also making it feel like a bar versus a dish washing station but we were able to sit and eat which was the goal..... so for what we came for, it rocks! When I want sushi, this is where I will continue to go. Check it out, especially lunch time.
