Tida Thai Cuisine

In a word- meh. I really like Thai and was searching for a new place since we recently moved to Hampton roads. This was not the place. The search continues.

No more will we order Chinese food. This place is fantastic and beats any Chinese fried rice. We ordered one shrimp fried rice and one beef fried rice..both with medium heat. It had just the right about of heat without being overwhelming spicy. Only thing we would change about the dish is make the protein saucy. Both the shrimp and beef didn’t look like they were cooked in any sauce. Would want that next time we order.

The staff was friendly, polite and very attentive. Food was well made and served hefty portions with the right balance of flavors. Especially enjoyed the dim lighting that gave you an atmosphere of coziness at your table.

Awful ordered food door dash and literally got barely any food from them. Specifically ordered chicken lettuce wraps and the container of chicken was maybe 1/2 full pathetic. called them and they didn't care.

Very disappointed. We're 5 minutes from the restaurant and we I got home, the two meals were not hot and the vegetables were over cooked, as were the shrimp. We won't be returning.

Great food! We really liked Tida Thai in Norfolk, but since we've moved towards oceanfront, this is much closer, and is still really great. We love their flavor and service. Food is always hot and spicy!

Don’t let the fact that a place can look empty fool you. This place serves up some seriously heavy hitters.
The server was just so personable and attentive that it felt less like a restaurant and more like eating dinner at a friend’s house.

The drunken noodles, Tom ka, and coconut curry. Every flavor mastered: sour, sweet, salty, spicy, umami. Every dish created with such thought and care.
I seriously can’t speak enough praises of this place.
