Service was very slow but friendly. Atmosphere is humble and our table was still dirty when seated. The food is why you go here. It was surprisingly good. Will definitely be back. Good comfort food, tastes fresh and quality ingredients. Highly recommend.

Had the worse experience for our lent fish fry at northside. All batter no fish. Service by the bartender was terrible. It was like she didn’t want us sitting in her section.Whole vibe of place is like the staff hates their job.We won’t be back

We’re locals and have had breakfast & lunch here probably a dozen times. It’s usually ok, nothing fantastic, but a quick decent meal at a reasonable price. We recently tried their $17 Fish Fry & it was one of the WORST experiences we’ve had at a restaurant in a while. Our meal was awful, along with the service. We were greeted in a very abrupt & unwelcoming manner by our waitress. Made us feel as though we were bothering her by being seated in her section by the bar. Our fish fry consisted of 4 pieces of beer battered cod, room temperature fries & Cole slaw. If you’re looking for a good fish & chips, you won’t find it here. Small, fish stick size pieces of cod were hiding deep within a very thick, heavy, soggy coating of batter.We had to peel the batter from each piece of fish, as it was inedible. Our waitress never came back to check on us, as she was too busy watching tik tok videos with other coworkers behind the bar. When we finally got her attention, she came by & we told her that this was the worst fish fry we’ve ever had. She smiled, said “I’m sorry” & cleared our plates that had piles of breading left on it. She never asked us what was wrong, because she obviously didn’t care. We will NEVER be back. For a country diner, the staff is very unfriendly the last few times we have been there & the food has gone down hill.

Home cooking, roadside diner experience. You get a large portion for the price which we appreciated. Ordered the house meatloaf. Warm rolls and butter were a treat. Clean & quiet restaurant to have a dinner. Service was great!

What a great place to have in the neighborhood. Owned by the folks that own Spitonys Pizza next door, it's homestyle cooking with an extensive menu. They recently remodeled, which was desperately needed! Looks great! I love their Greek salad, and omelets are always good. Do try it!

I've been to many restaurants in many places. The food reminded of a breakfast you would have on the california coast overlooking the ocean. The fact that they source lots of ingredients from local markets really shines through. Definitely going back.

This was my first time dining at Northside 29, and it was amazing! The lunches consisted of a large amount of food that was so delicious that it's hard to put it to words .. The waitress was spot on with refills, and seeing that we were well taken care of!I have a new favorite restaurant to treat myself ?!
