This place is amazing me n my husband go here all the time they lady who works there is amazing and the food is nothing but amazing!!! I highly recommend this and the prices are very well priced I mean they have lunch meals for no more then ten bucks with two huge pieces of fish your choice and hush puppies and fries and it has a good amount of everything we love it and the three starts aren’t doing there justice it’s like a ten starts to us ? If you really really really like salt.Oyster are the worst I've ever seen and don't think it was even oystersBroiled crabcake was wet and the 30 pc steamed shrimp was mush. The lady was beyond grumpy and might be the worst customer service in wburg..you can't see the product on display because its empty and the upkeep of the property is disturbing..so much more to say but won't waste more time

please just drive somewhere 15 minutes away and eat fresh caught seafood from a family who cares about their business. This place is a disaster. This is supposed to be a fried oyster!! Very gross outside, inside, and the food. The owner(s) are mean and have no idea what customer service is. I would recommend any seafood place over this place. Especially including Newport News, Yorktown and others. Its so bad that i wouldn't be surprised if this place gets shut down.

I was not impressed. Unwelcoming and dark inside, display counter/cases were not well lit. This was my first visit and I might go back in a pinch to try the crabs, but to me they are a bit pricey. I finally settled on a Whiting sandwich and popcorn shrimp dinners for the grands. The fish looked good and the taste was just ok. The breading was good, but the fish was not seasoned, not to mention taking a bite and having to spit out several fish scales. The grands said the hush puppies were good but echoed my opinion on the taste of the popcorn shrimp. I tasted one and it seemed like the same breading as the fish and/or cooked in the same grease. I have definitely had better, even from my own kitchen...

Very rude and disrespectful... I called 1st to find out pricing and availability only to be told to come into to the store. Once I arrived to the store I asked for more details and rushed to place an order once I went to pay my monies was snatched from my hand. Totally unacceptable and I asked for my monies back and immediately left! As a guest to Williamsburgs from Philadelphia I was appalled at this behavior as we have enjoyed our dinning and the Southern hospitality at every other establishment.

Just don’t do it. Worst I’ve ever eaten. Old frozen rebreaded minced. Ugh! Just chunks of breading. No restroom. It definitely smelled of seafood
7/8/2020I patronized this establishment again. The price went up on the garlic butter crabs by $3 so I paid the increased price without complaint. I thought the sales tax was 7% so when no one was at the counter, I approached and quietly & politely said " you may have overcharged me on tax" before I could finish she went into a rage claiming I was accusing her of cheating, (was only trying to find out the tax rate), she finally said 12% and I said "ok" she stormed off to the back, making me wait longer for my already delayed order. When she finally came back, I told her I wasn't accusing her of cheating, I was only trying to find out how much tax was, she became more irate and told me how I should have asked the question. I don't know why she is so defensive and angry, but I hope she finds inner peace.I ordered the garlic butter crabs and they were very dry as if they were old (cooked days or weeks ago). The seasoning on the bottom of the box was tasty and the crabs were meaty, just didn't taste fresh.
