The fresh fruit and granola really made the dish!”

“When I went it was during a very busy time and there was only two people running the shop. But I have to say the food hair was pretty terrific. If you're looking for a reasonably priced flavor packed meal, I would stop here. I don't think you could really go wrong with any of the meals here to be honest. Chutney was flavorful, the Masala Dolsa was crispy but with some fluff and packed with onions (which was a lovely surprise) and it honestly made me regret not ordering two plates.”

The food is fantastic, drinks are plentiful and not watered down. Belly dancing Greek dancing and authentic Greek music. Kid's love it, Family oriented old world experience that I imagine won't last too much longer, so go experience it while you are able, and it is still available”

I could tell as soon as I walked in I was about to have the best pastry of my life. They only take cash or zelle to be ready for that when you come in, it is 1000000% worth it. If you're in Ventura please go check them out.”

“We stopped by as they were closing, and they were kind enough to whip up a to-go order for us. We are from Florida and are no strangers to good seafood. These are the best fish tacos that I have had in many years. The combo had one grilled and one fried. They were both well dressed with the perfect garnishes for embellishment. The sauce was amazing and the salsa paired well with all. Bonus: all entrees had a pan fried banana pepper on the side. Next time we are over this way, we will definitely stop in!Dietary restrictions: Tortillas are homemade and gluten free. Grilled options also accommodate gluten free needs.”

“Brewery sits on a pier and looks out at the ocean. There is a beach playground just below if you have kids that you can let them run around at. Food is served on level 1 and beer on level 2. Beer that we sampled was okay. It was nice to drink out on their patio with a view of the Pacific Ocean.”

We always get the Avocado toast with smoked salmon (SO GOOD) it has fresh pickled veggies and fresh spicy greens, some kind of nuts and a very generous amount of zesty mashed avocado. I always get a hot matcha latte, I am a barista so I am very picky with my lattes and every time I get one here it is perfectly balanced and steamed to perfection. Everyone working there is so sweet. They also have a selection of baked things, we shared a cinnamon roll this morning, also very good. My favorite spot for sure.”

Once inside, you're greeted with a sophisticated and elegant lounge atmosphere, complete with small tables, cozy couch seating, and a stylish bar.The upscale speakeasy vibe is enhanced by the dark, muted colors, luxurious fabrics, and eccentric artwork adorning the walls. While the music was a bit too loud for the ambiance, it didn't detract from the overall experience.The cocktails at Rocks and Drams are truly a work of art. Each drink is meticulously crafted with spot-on ingredients, offering a variety of options to suit every taste. The staff, including the friendly and knowledgeable bartender who assisted us, were exceptionally helpful and polite.What's more, the prices for the drinks are incredibly reasonable considering the upscale atmosphere of the lounge. However the second time we had to send make 3 dishes for being cooked incorrectly, we had to repeatedly chase drinks orders. Aloha is a great spot, but depending on the night and servers, you may have very different experiences.”

My daughter has a restrictive diet due to allergies and being a vegan and they made her a special pasta. When our server learned that it was her birthday recently, he brought out a surprise dessert, and a candle so we could sing to her since we couldn’t be here for her 21st birthday. My husband said his fillet was the best steak he had ever had, and believe me we’ve been to many high-end steakhouses. All I can say is: GO NOW!”

“We had dinner at Lucky Thai in early March 2024. We had the pumpkin curry with chicken, drunken noodle with chicken, and the rib eye green curry. All 3 dishes were very flavorful, and served hot in good size portions. 4 of us shared three entrees, and it was plenty. The food was delicious, and five stars for perfectly cooked vegetables. The service was attentive, too. The dining area is not particularly inspiring, but it's fine. It's a great restaurant, and based on that one meal I think this might be the tastiest Thai food in Ventura. We'll be going back for sure.”

“Had dinner Saturday night with my wife, food was amazing. We started with the mussels as an appetizer then I had the crab and spinach salad and my wife had the cave salad add salmon. Everything about it was amazing. Especially the service, Sarah was our main server but we also were helped by a Rachel and Megan. We sometimes forget about the cave with its location but it’s a place we’ve always loved and and enjoyed when we get the chance to get in.”

“I rarely have been to Jimmy John's, but they were promoting their rewards app. First app purchase and then you can get a free sandwich reward. I think the sandwich taste (I tend to like roast beef and or turkey) was pretty good, and you get plenty of topping and sauce options; the meat tasted fresh. Their prices seem reasonable, little on the lower side because cheese is not always included in the subs, it depends on your choice which is a little confusing. Once you start adding up cheese, avocado as additional items, then the prices are getting high for subs. I would agree that service is what is hit or miss here. When I first ordered, the younger woman was little flustered, even tho there werent other customers, but I think something was going on between workers at the sandwich line. She forgot to ask me my reward#, the main reason I was trying out Jimmy John's, so the whole order had to be voided and re-rung in. That seems highly inconvenient for staff and myself and the original woman never acknowledged or said anything to me. Her manager had to re-ring in the order. She may have been a newer employee. I would return again, as their app is really user friendly and they seem rewards focused. But I generally enjoy Jersey Mike subs but they are higher prices, and they don't have a real rewards program (from what I saw online)”

We were four for lunch and with three fountain drinks and one beer it was $80. Not cheap however fresh and good. Three of us had fish tacos and olive oil had shrimp quesadilla. I wish there was some cilantro and tomato in it however I never asked. I did ask for sour cream and guacamole on side which they did no problem. Overall experience was 4.5 however certainly better than a 4. Sitting outside was a bonus and you can hear them call your number as you must pick up your food. Code needed for restroom. “This was my first visit to Deep Sea wines. They have two tasting flights: an all red flight for $26 and a mixed flight called the Signature Tasting Flight for $20. I decided to try the Signature Tasting Flight which consisted of a 2022 "The Seahorse" Sauvignon Blanc, 2022 "The Seaturtle" Chardonnay, 2022 "The Seastar" Rose, 2021 "The Helmet" Pinot Noir, and 2021 "The Duel" Red Blend. They also offer food, ranging from a cheese plate ($18), three pizza options, two desserts. I didn't have any food during my tastings but some other customers ordered while I was there and the pizzas looked really tasty. Definitely might give them a chance the next time I stop by. I enjoyed all the wines I had that day but I ended up taking The Seahorse Sauvignon Blanc home. They also were kind enough to let me try the Conway Pinot Noir which was different from the Helmet Pinot that was part of the Signature Flight. I love when I'm able to do a side-by-side comparison of two wines - it often helps me decide what I'm going to purchase. Even though I preferred the Helmet Pinot more than the Conway (although both were really good), I was in a Sauvignon Blanc mood so I decided to take that home. The tasting room was spacious with comfy couches, bar seating and even an outdoor patio. With the location being at Ventura Harbor Village, there wasn't really a bad seat in the house as you're able to look out at the boats and water while you taste. As for parking, when I arrived at about 10:30 am that morning (the tasting room doesn't open until 11am) there were plenty of spaces. But other customers that came in after me commented how it was hard to find parking as there was an event happening that day, so the lot was very full. Stephanie and Jessica poured my wines for me and they were great! Answered all my questions, were prompt when I was ready for my next pour and were super pleasant. Even when they got very busy towards the end of my tasting, they still made sure I was taken care of. Would definitely recommend it.”

We stopped in to check out this new place to us and found out that this establishment has been open for approximately 12 years as a winery. And several years ago they got into making ciders! This place is primarily a winery with a spin off of a cidery where they feature approximately 5 ciders on tap. Plus they have ciders in bottles that you can take away. They had one apple cider and several other flavors. As I am a traditionalist when it comes to cider, I stick to the apple cider! It was good but definitely on the sweeter side! I prefer dry ciders! Ciders cost 11 dollars a glass. They have take away bottles of ciders too! Nice item to take to the beach! If you are not a cider fan or prefer wine, they have an extensive menu of wine! The winery/cidery does have a comfy location to kick back within a small space! They have nice comfy seats plus larger communal tables! “I don’t normally take time to write reviews but felt I needed to after all of the hard work the staff visibly put in over the Holidays.I was there when the machines went down and saw that the staff was working hard to take care of every single person in line and keep us informed of the status of things.It was frustrating for the business to have issues the day before Thanksgiving but what was controllable by the staff was being handled with great efficiency and care.I am from out of town and had wanted to pick up a ham on my way to family for Thanksgiving.I had expected that I may encounter a line given it was the day before Thanksgiving but was surprised to see just how long the line was.Because there was a huge line I walked inside to see what was going on and noticed that there were cashiers at every register helping customers. Can’t really complain about a line when every available register is being used.There was a nice lady walking the line, I think her name was Sue, who was doing her best to answer questions and make sure people were in the correct line.When I got to the front of the line I was helped by Christy who was amazing and professional.I appreciate that even though it was busy she noticed I had reserved a quarter ham and explained to me the cost difference between the more expensive quarter hams and the half hams.We were able to get me a much bigger ham for almost the same price I would have paid for the smaller quarter ham. So I now have leftovers I can look forward to in my freezer.I have read some of the reviews and understand people’s frustration about glaze issues ( given there was an issue with the machine and the staff was very transparent about what was going on and the work they were doing to get it fixed) but I don’t understand posting a poor review without giving the business a chance to rectify the situation.While I feel corporate could do a much better job ensuring the stores have enough room to care for their holiday traffic ( that store seems way to small to handle that kind of holiday traffic), I feel like the manager did a great job ensuring the workers in the store were doing what they could to keep things going and get people cared for.We will come back for sure.”

“I rarely have been to Jimmy John's, but they were promoting their rewards app. First app purchase and then you can get a free sandwich reward. I think the sandwich taste (I tend to like roast beef and or turkey) was pretty good, and you get plenty of topping and sauce options; the meat tasted fresh. Their prices seem reasonable, little on the lower side because cheese is not always included in the subs, it depends on your choice which is a little confusing. Once you start adding up cheese, avocado as additional items, then the prices are getting high for subs. I would agree that service is what is hit or miss here. When I first ordered, the younger woman was little flustered, even tho there werent other customers, but I think something was going on between workers at the sandwich line. She forgot to ask me my reward#, the main reason I was trying out Jimmy John's, so the whole order had to be voided and re-rung in. That seems highly inconvenient for staff and myself and the original woman never acknowledged or said anything to me. Her manager had to re-ring in the order. She may have been a newer employee. I would return again, as their app is really user friendly and they seem rewards focused. But I generally enjoy Jersey Mike subs but they are higher prices, and they don't have a real rewards program (from what I saw online)”

I don't even have to buy anything, I just feel better when Im there.Parking: Like any popular restaurant that is near a college, a mall, Lows.. Really, it's close to everything good in the world. Ease to park can change with the time of day, season, wave size, weather condition...Kid-friendliness: Blenders is great dont go alone bring all your kids dogs family etc. No matter who you are, who you want to be, or wish you could be like Blenders tasts the same. Their food is not picky or judgemental. Their food is smarter than most people.. gets better every time I go..Wheelchair accessibility: I myself do not use a wheelchair and do not think any place is easy enough for a wheelchair. We can always always do better.. so I give a low review on that in hopes of doing better and not just making due with what's good now..”

But compared to Costa Rica it is expensive.. you could get a huge piece of fresh Mahi, rice, beans, salad and other fixins there for a little over $9… but alas.. we live in California.. While there are BBQ places in Ventura (No good ones in Ojai where we live), there really isn'ta great one that we've found, so we went here just to check it out and have eaten there twice so far.Food: The food is awesome! Ribs, tri-tip, hot links, beans, etc. BBQ not necessarily smoked BBQ which is fine with us.Price: Now that everything is expensive it's hard to say. We (2 people) pay around $50 for 2 rib plates with 2 hot links added, and cokes. Plenty of food. Both times we got to-go boxes.Atmosphere: Small, dimly lit, quiet, can be cold. It's was empty when we've went except for people there for take out.Service: Good service. A young man took our order and brought out our food. He was very polite and accommodating.I would hate to see this place close so go there and give it a chance!”

“This hotel has obviously been remodeled relatively recently. It still looks new. Staff at check-in were pleasant, efficient, thorough and very accommodating. The room we had was amazingly comfortable. It was big, well appointed, very clean, and had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. One of my bugaboos about hotels is the air conditioning. This unit was fantastic - easy to set, very reliable, and the fan made just the right amount of noise to provide that marvelous "white noise sleep." Because the lounge was closed, instead of a continental breakfast in the lounge due to our Elite status, we were treated to a full order off the menu breakfast. It was a really good pork green chili omelet. My only complaint would be that there is a $16 charge for parking. A little strange, but that's life these days. We will be coming back to Venture and will be choosing this Marriott as our hotel.”
