Wow……really expected at least the service OR the quality of the food to at least last match the prices. Sorely lacking in both regards. I normally don’t write reviews for small local businesses, but when things are this disappointing it warrants something being said.
NO, NONO!!!Minus five...When a place gives you potato chips with your burger because they do not make fries, that is a red flag.I ordered a hamburger and was surprised to hear they did not make fries. They also do not make drinks... for some reason so I had a banana soda...The burger tasted as if the fridge was stocked with Family Dollar ground beef or the angry hell spawn spirit of a burger bent on revenge.I did not finish the food, payed for the haunting of my intestines and left.I'm not going back,
Place was a total disappoinment. Even asking the cook if the Aztec burrito included Mexica chorizo they still served some type of sausage in the burrito, not chorizo. They've obviously never had Mexican chorizo. Service was terrible. Place has soiled carpets, old beat up place. Waste of money. Never again!
Toast and eggs were ok. The homefries were terrible and seemed like they were reheated from the day before. Very basic menu and missing a lot of items compared to a few years ago. An hour after we ate we both had bad stomachache and a lot of time in the bathroom!! We will never go back!
Cute little converted diner car. Breakfast was sub par. Home fries were dredged in oil. When we asked to move our seats from a booth to a table we were given a hard time. Nice but would not go back.
My fiance and I found this place after trying to find somewhere to have lunch in Brattleboro on a Sunday. The traffic and people were crazy so we thought we would head out of the heart of town a little and found this diamond in the rough. I had a perfect Aztec Omelet. There was plenty of fresh avocado and chorizo and not overwhelmed with cheese. Came with great home fries and a thick toast. My boyfriend tried their chicken and waffle sandwich with bacon and maple butter. It really worked. He also got home fries. We had a local beer reasonably priced. We really wanted to try the boozy milkshake or pie but we were stuffed. The waitstaff was patient and super friendly. The decor was old school diner and very clean.
Would have done dine in. From the start placed smelled of mildew and mold. Then the waitress was not professional at all. Then find out the food is precooked and just left sitting on grill. And you can't change how the food is cooked. Example homefries well done. Quote they come as they come. Then asked to have eggs scrabbled and says they can only come hard. ?
This is a really dinner. Don't be surprised that you'll have to show your vaccination proof, but it was really great service, for a fair price and tasted great! They also offer morning drink options like mimosas or bloody Mary's for those who enjoy that.
Great food and friendly staff. Also really liked that they checked for vaccination status before entry! Safety first!!
Was all excited to eat here as my daughters favorite animal was a Flamingo. She was happy to see Flamingos in the windows but disappointment set in when we came to the door. *I know everyone has their own opinions but Our Vaccine status shouldn’t affect where we eat. If it said Mask needed we would have came in. But this sign was over doing it we thought. *we live in a free country, no matter your sexuality, gender, religion or any other beliefs shouldn’t decide where you can and can’t eat. Vaccines is no different. Thanks but No Thanks.

The food is always so good just like a home cooked meal everyone is always pleasant.
Experience was horrible. Placed an order in person at 10:38am Monday may 23rd was told I couldn’t get a BLT because the grill was off until 11am. Ok, so chose a breakfast sandwich but no cheese since I’m allergic. They put up the biggest fuss to accommodate my food allergy. How come I can get an egg sandwich with bacon, but can’t get bacon lettuce and tomato on bread at the same time since the “grill isn’t on.” What kind of place that serves food won’t accommodate a food allergy? I was told, ok this one time.. like they were doing me a favor… disgusting. Disappointed we bothered placing an order at this establishment. The hash browns had absolutely no salt or seasoning. Very sad. The fried egg was good.
Kitschy decor, friendly service, delicious food! We had the Vermont classic grilled cheese, Flamingo Diner classic omelet, special lemon poppy pancakes with maple syrup, and a side of sausage.
Love this place. Service is excellent. Staff is very good at their job. Go there for breakfast once a week and the food is very good. And served as ordered quickly. Haven’t tried it for lunch yet, but plan on it soon.
Best grilled cheese sandwich ever!!! I am happy they require a vax card, it makes it feel safe! Overall a great place
