Amazing pizza! This is one of the best places to, get a margarita pizza around Burlington! Every time we visit we always grab some pizzas from here and head next door to Queen City Brewing for some amazing beer as well. Pizza is perfect.. Never greasy and always fresh even when getting take out!

I agree with Steve ...just meh.... i went there with my family and we ordered four deep dish pizzas... the pizzas were a poor imitation of Pequod's... the cheese on the crust was burned into carbon rather than Pequod's cheesy carmelized goodness. Anyway, besides just mediocre pizza it cost some ungodly amount for pizza...like well over 100 bucks. something like 120 with tip. Speaking of tips, what for? you order at the counter... The service was also lackluster...we waited for about 15mn just standing around waiting for a table to open up ....then when it did the waitress snipped at us for sitting at a dirty table...when she didn't come and clean it for something like 15mn. Clearly understaffed. I suspect when that happens that something isn't happening right management wise. Further, If i pay that much for mediocre pizza it felt like adding insult to injury. Unfortunately this is about the fourth time in a row with just a meh result...cannot for the life of me understand the high ratings below. There is just much better pizza to be had at Verita and other places to pay the same amount or more for Pizza 44...i can make Chicago style better than that.

Called in an order for a pizza Margherita. Went inside and stood behind a couple that used the kiosk to order their food. Stood there for 5 min while the pizza crew behind the bar made food. Not one of them acknowledged me in any fashion even though i made eye contact a couple of times. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to use the kiosk to check in so I poked around on that for a minute unable to find that so I backed up and stood there another five. Finally the waiter came by (after dealing with his 2 tables) and asked if I was picking up. He was polite enough, checked me out and I waited a few more minutes for him to grab my pizza. If cooks are front and center to patrons it should be pretty simple to say hello or nod or maybe perhaps say someone will be right with me. Brought the pizza out and it was basically a sauce pie. It barely had any basil on it, a couple of pieces only had one flake of basil lol, and the cheese slices covered maybe 25% of the pizza. It was Pretty disappointing, you can't even taste the cheese! The only reason I even tipped at the end was because I'm a guilt tipper and the waiter was pleasant. The industrial atmosphere is cool but I wouldn't recommend eating there unless you like being ignored. Aside from the waiter being courteous, the rest of the staff all looked snobby and depressed

Pretty mediocre dining experience start to finish. We’ve gotten take out before and it’s been ok, so decided to try dining in this time. Ordered salad, meatballs, a bbq chicken pizza, and a couple glasses of wine. Pizza came out suspiciously quick (before the wine) and it was lukewarm, not crispy whatsoever, and overly doughy. It had the consistency of a microwaved slice of two-day old pizza. Actually one of the worst pizzas I’ve had in a while. Maybe they had pizzas pre-made or something? Meatballs were not great either, kind of cat food-ish. For over $80, it seemed like a lot of corners were cut and the quality was severely lacking. Every time we try this place we’re reminded of why we don’t eat here that often, despite living a block away.

I love this place, great food, but my goodness… the hours are ridiculous and inconvenient. Who is open from 3-8pm ?

This is the best pizza I have had since I moved to VT 6 months ago. The cast iron skillet pizza was unreal. Highly recommend!

Good pizza would have been nice to be explained how it worked you have to place food order yourself on tablet. Was never told that when greeted. Food was ?

Pizza was delicious and came out super fast! Have local beers from different breweries. Had the Buffalo chicken and Mickster pizza and both were delicious.

Pizza 44 catered my husband and I's welcome party for our wedding weekend. We had an absolutely awesome experience working with them. Chris was extremely helpful and responsive, making sure we had the right amount and variety of food for our group of 50 and made the ordering process so easy. The food was great, which is impressive making so many pizzas of all different kinds. They really have something for all palettes. Our friends and family talked about how delicious it was all night. It was the perfect way to kickoff our celebrations. Thank you, Pizza 44!

Sometimes when they make the cast iron deep dish pizza they tend to over cook the Crust of the pizza. Prices are good better then some pizza places.

Unique pizzas and a maple cannoli! Very tasty and super fun to watch them make the pizzas at the counter

We spent 4 days in Burlington and ate here twice, it was so good. Excellent thinner crust pizza, good salads, and too-large servings of garlic knots. Service is self-serve -- order at the counter, get your own drink, and find your own table. Busy but not overcrowded. Very fast time to get food.
