$60 wasted. We ordered online, did not get what we ordered. quality was horrible, no flavor. first time trying indian food and this place disappointed us. not only was the food awful, the service was terrible as well. greeted with rudeness at the door when we went to pick our order up. nothing on the menu matched the pictures on the website. very disappointed. will not be ordering here again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and I must say it was an absolute culinary delight! From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting (it is a bit of a hole in the wall, but that adds to it) ambiance set the stage for good dining experience. First and foremost, let's talk about the naan - an obvious labor of love. The aroma wafting from the kitchen was enough to make my mouth water, and when the fresh, piping hot naan arrived at the table, I knew I was in for a treat. Each piece was perfectly soft, with just the right amount of char, and it was evident that they were homemade. The naan alone would bring me back. Now, onto the star of the show - the Chicken Tikka Masala. It's not an exaggeration to say that it was out of this world! The tender chicken pieces were bathed in a rich, creamy tomato-based sauce that was perfectly balanced with aromatic spices. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and the spice level was just right for my palate. I could taste the authenticity and passion that went into crafting this dish, making it a true standout.

We went for the Sunday buffet. The food was all really good and fresh. We got there towards the end of the buffet time and they were still relatively busy and refilling the trays. The buffet is about $15 a person and includes tea and coffee. There was a good selection of items, both vegetarian and non-veg. Parking is just on the street, we were able to find a spot pretty easily and since it was Sunday it was free. There's also paid parking in the area if none of the street spots are open. We definitely plan on going back!

I have not lived in Burlington in over 2 years but I think about the food here CONSTANTLY. My favorite item on the menu is the Malai Kofta, I live in NYC and try new Indian restaurants constantly but none even come CLOSE in comparison to the Malai Kofta here. Order it - you'll thank me later. If you eat in the restaurant the staff is very attentive and I have always had good experiences. One day I hope to come back and eat their delicious food again...

Absolutely fantastic. A must try if you are in the Burlington area. Great prices, and the food was outstanding! We had the samasos, cheese naan, chicken tikka masala (hot), baingan bartha (med). No layer of grease on the food and spice level was perfect.

I visited Shalimar of India for lunch, and was blown away by not only the food but the kindness of the staff.I’m a person who doesn’t deal well with spice but LOVES Indian food, and they were able to make a curry that was truly delicious and mild enough for me.As someone who’s been to India- the flavors and styles depend a lot on where in the country you are. This tasted very similar to the curries I enjoyed in Jaipur.Aloo chole and vegetable pakora were both phenomenal. Thanks so much, and I will be back!
