Nice, spacious and clean. Good view of the slopes, while eating upstairs in the cafeteria. Tried the bar downstairs, but only the young lady, who instantly brought us water, paid us any attention. The waitresses never even acknowledge us. Their loss and we had awesome service upstairs!
Warm and sunny with stunning views of mountains all around. The only ding is it's a long walk up a steep drive to the building and then stairs to the cafeteria. But once you're there, it's great.

Smugglers Notch is the perfect expert and family and family skiing resort. I love that it is a quintessential Vermont old-school ski mountain and not full of high speed quads that clog up the trails. If you don't like standing in line and riding up 2-seater lifts, then you should go over the other side of the Notch to Stowe.
