The view and location are nice, but the prices are insane! The food is average and service is friendly but slow. The prices are outrageous for the food quality. It was a much better experience under the old ownership.

Great food: wonderful blackened tuna tacos, lobster roll and well-done fries. Draft beer selection was diverse. Daniel was a great server. All topped off with a lakeside table with a beautiful view.

Such a beautiful place and it being dog friendly is a plus. This was our first time here with our dog and we were surprised he behaved so well. Beautiful views and amazing food. Worth the price and just so good.

Open table app did not take our reservation and in hindsight I think I know why. We were seated in the middle of a pre-wedding celebration, making us feel like party crashers. Wish the person who took the booking let us know beforehand. We were seated in front of the live music (which was nice but too close and tight) while the lakeside table we wanted sat empty which would have better accommodated our group. Staff was absolutely wonderful but seemed to be stretched a bit too thin. Food was good.

Delightful relaxing setting and a menu with good variety on a perfect Summer day. Dining decks situated directly on beautiful Lake Bomoseen. When busy, parking is tough, so leave extra time to wait for a spot. Not sure if it's the only option, but to get to the dining decks, you must traverse wooden stairs. Patrons of all ages nonetheless. Including well behaved dogs! Would look forward to visit again if we were in the area.

The Lake House never disappoints. We have eaten lunch and dinner here at least a half a dozen times this summer and the food is always excellent. I especially recommend the scallops tacos and the ribs. Their sumner salad is always excellent.

I made a reservation for 6. A half an hour later my aunt asked if she and my 3 nieces and nephews could join us, but when I tried to book them a table I got a message that no more tables were available that night. When we got there we were one of 2 tables in the outside dining area, and no more came in by the time we left an hour an a half later. When our appetizer arrived, a plate of nachos, we were not given plates or silverware. My chowder was delicious but lukewarm. Our servers were pleasant but vanished as soon as they dropped off the food and couldn't be found after that. The lobster rolls were very good but very pricey. The grilled chicken on the Caesar salad was dry and tasteless. The lakeside setting was beautiful. It's too bad that the food and service were so uneven. We will not be back.

Enjoyed a great meal on the deck down at the water! The setting is relaxing watching the sun set with live music too! The food was very good, can't wait to come back and try another one! Was surprised with how good the service was as the outdoor seating is down several sets of stairs.

The food looked very good, arrived hot and was tasty. As soon as we arrived we remembered why we have gone from a high of 62 visits here in 1 season to none in the last 2 years. They not only allow but invite people to bring their dogs to this restaurant. We won't be going back unless we forget again or they change their policy.

I highly recommend eating at the Lake House. The ambiance of eating by the water with live music was fantastic. The food and drinks were tasty. It was my wedding anniversary, and they treated my wife and I to a dessert on the house, which was quite unexpected and much appreciated! Make sure you secure a reservation with OpenTable because the restaurant was popular and walk ins was hard to come by.

The food was OK, but not worth the top dollar paid, our service was horrible. The worst I've ever had. The music was fun and the atmosphere was OK. We made a reservation for two for an anniversary dinner outdoor reservation seating. They literally sat us right next to the music so we couldn't even talk or hear. We nicely asked if we could please sit at a different open table and the girl instead of saying, I'll check for you decided to say no by not saying anything and walking away we were later moved to a table a bit further away from the music and From there it just slowly went downhill. Our waitress was very slow and more interested in entertaining people. She knew dining and taking care of New first time customers at a restaurant she did not make us aware of any of charges additional to the menu based on our order, she was not very friendly or kind, forgot to bring us items. We asked for to come with our meal on more than one occasion, and I do not believe we will ever go back.

Such a great find!! Perfect day to be on the lake.. server was awesome, I've been in restaurant business forever and I'd hire her in an instant! We enjoyed the steamed clams, Korean sliders, a beautiful salad and a "life changing" maple waffle dessert! Wish we were closer!
