Tasty authentic burmese food. Light & Fresh. It's a small restaurant with simple decor & using paper containers. You order your food at the counter but it gets brought to you.Parking: Directly where the restaurant is. It doesn't have too many parking spots but otherwise there are other options.

As a chef here in beautiful southern Vermont I just wanted to drop a little review for Moonwink. It is by far my favorite restaurant in the area. I could eat the Chicken Burma every day of my life. The owners, Wes and Mei are two of the kindest and honest folks I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know in the area. Their restaurant is an absolute must try if you are a local or traveling to Manchester. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough.

Ventured in for lunch on a cold, rainy, early November day. We'd never had Burmese food before, and it did not disappoint. The stuffed tofu appetizer was delicious and the portion size is such that it could make a nice light lunch on its own. I got the coconut noodles with chicken, and it had a nice, light coconut taste and a tolerable level of spice. The crispy yellow pea fritter over the top of the noodles imparted some fun texture. I also opted to add in some Burmese falafel, which was delicious; I just wish the portion had been bigger. Overall the dish was very filling and a good value. Ordered the Burmese green tea as well, and as a tea lover, I thought this was a great choice. It's a strong tea, with a woody overtone and a slightly milky finish. Be prepared to fish all the loose tea leaves out of your cup with a fork before drinking. My only complaint about the place was that it was quite cold inside -- I definitely needed the noodles and tea to help me warm up.

We ended up here on a whim and were so glad to have found this gem of a spot! The food was nourishing, packed with flavor, and had amazing different textures! The dishes were well-balanced and light. The service was excellent; the owners gave us recommendations in the area and were very hospitable.

The food is GREAT!! Flavorful, full of texture, and fresh ingredients. We live about 45 minutes away but will make an excuse to head back that way again in the near future. It appears to be a 2 person team running the place, where you order at the counter - but don't think fast food service; enjoy your time/company while you wait for your individually prepared food.Half of the team seems positive while the other half might be experienced as a bit gruff.Very small parking lot. Has 4 -5 tables and window/counter seating.Parking: There is limited parking in their parking - maybe 5-6 cars. It is next to another business with separate parking. Street parking is an option but it would be down the road a bit.

This food is amazing! Never had Burmese food before, but I am half Thai and thought the food can't be too different, plus I'm plant based so we were looking for vegan friendly restaurants. This spot is it!!! We had the Oh No Kou Swel, La Phat Thok, and Stuffed Tofu. Of the three dishes, La Phat Thok was my favorite! I love the crunchy beans and peas and citrus dressing. Mmmm! Would definitely come here again!

We hadn't been to Moonwink for a while, but we were thrilled to discover today that the food is just as good as we remembered. The standout dish for us is Oh No Kou Swel, a very thick chicken noodle soup with coconut cream for smoothness and split pea fritter bits for crunch. It's excellent, and large enough for two people to share. With some delicious vegetable spring rolls (a special that's not on the menu but hopefully will be some day), we had a filling lunch and still had enough soup left over for tomorrow. Another plus for this casual, bus-your-own-table restaurant is the accessible chef/owner, who guides you through the menu and treats you like a friend. Unfortunately, Moonwink is only open Tuesday through Friday, but it's well worth a weekday visit. Be sure to check out the charming mural with scenes of Burma while waiting for your meal.
