DISAPPOINTING. Was looking forward to enjoying some BBQ this was not the place for it. I understand the possibility of not having burnt tips, it implies that right on the menu. However, 6PM on a Thursday night a BBQ place with NO ribs? Poor management or poor restaurant? Everything was downhill from there. Wait staff was less than stellar and our waitress was training a new staff person. Sampler platter was just okay nothing to peak expectations or a return trip. Attentiveness was not there. I wish the food could have been somewhat spectacular but it wasn't. It did take more than 35 minutes between appetizers and entrees.... Ambiance, I couldn't tell you, I was facing a wall in front of me and a room divider you couldn't see over next to me.

I have been to this establishment a handful of times, and I've always had a good experience. Last night was not the case. The service was extremely slow, spanning from the waitstaff to the kitchen, which made me wonder if there was anyone even in the kitchen! No food for the entire seating area came out for 40 minutes. Then, everyone started getting their food one plate after another. It was kind of odd. Overall, we were there over an hour before our nachos starter came out. During said time, out beer glasses sat empty for 30 minutes. We ended up taking our entrée, the classic burger, home with us. Total time spent at restaurant, one hour and 43 minutes. On to the food. The worst nachos ever. We ordered the pulled pork nachos, and the pork was larger chunks, with no sauce. Bland as hell. Dry and the bottom layer were soggy chips from the grease of the pork. Again, there is no additional flavor profile. Pico/salsa, or whatever that was dry and bland. The burger was very greasy and undercooked. The fries had clearly sat in oil for what tasted like all day, then flash fried. Made my stomach hurt.I hate to put them on blast like this because they have good food and I have had good service there. I just hope they hear this and do better. Also, they offered a discount based on how long we waited. On a $70 bill, they took $3.65 off. ??? At the very least, take one round of drinks and comp that! ?

Very nice. The service was perfect. Large selection of beers. There is the tap house with outdoor seating and the smoke house who also has outdoor seating. The food menu is different. We chose the Smoke house. We had pull pork tacos and the burnt ends platter. The food was very good. Suggest to make reservation, we had to sit at the bar it was the only option without reservation. At the Tap House you can get pizza.

‘Twas a stormy summer’s eve when stumble upon a succulent and saucy surprise in St. Albans, VT did I. As if these smoked wings were not sultry and seductive enough they are subsequently fried and sealed betwixt a bodacious batter. No longer the apocope of the bird, these wings earned their place in menu-Valhalla, upon the entree list.9/10 Siracha hot honey8/10 Buffalo8/10 sage maple dry rub@millriverbrewingBtw Becky the bartender is great too.

Best food by far. The staff is the best, friendly and knowledgeable. And the deserts are fantastic. Something different and delicious. Not too sweet and the portions amazing. Can say enough about the deserts . They always think of something different for the specials because maybe some people don’t like brisket. If you haven’t been there, may a trip, you won’t be disappointed.

Was told over an HOUR before closing that we couldn’t get takeout. Have literally ALWAYS have had a problem with this place. During Covid it was always a 2-3 hr wait, they’d be closed on random days or just closed early, or like tonight. Been looking forward to it all day, but apparently you need to call them three hours before closing to get food. Ridiculous.

Food was mediocre at best . they messed up everyone's order. Out of half the menu they were out of so no one was able to order what they wanted . Also out of certain beers Was given used napkin with silverware wrapped in it

Absolutely DISGUSTING. They didnt have the burnt ends so I got ribs. The bones literally mushed between my fingers and the marrow looked like mushed brownies. Waitress showed the cook and they claimed it was "cooked really long". I've worked on farms specializing in smoked BBQ and that's nothing that should have been served. My gf couldn't even finish her meal because of how disgusting mine was. They offered an offensive 10% discount instead of comping the meal. It tasted fishy and I made myself throw up after so I didn't get sick. The worse BBQ I've ever had. A complete disgrace. Overcooked bones are brittle, not mush, the fact they tried to play it off as cooked long is also offensive. Not to mention how overpriced that garbage was. Threw out the leftovers, wouldn't even want a raccoon to suffer that animosity of a meal. Wish I could do 0 stars.

My son brought me to lunch for Mother’s Day and what a great experience we had, due to the wonderful server we had. Kayla! She was so knowledgeable and attentive. She checked on us frequently. The food was perfection. The person in charge of the grill knows their business. It was delicious and can’t wait to go back! Kudos to all of you!
Twice now my family and I have arrived at Mill Street by 6:15 and have been turned away. Although the website says they close at 7pm, we were told that they don’t seat a party of 4 after 5:45….what? Maybe they need to change their hours and list it as last seating is 5:45. I’m not sure how an establishment can list hours yet when you arrive well before closing you are turned away. So if you want to dine here, be sure you get there before 5:45pm even though hours are listed as closes at 7pm.

Good selection of Beer, I'd recommend Wir Lieben Bier. Smokers are huge. Was more like three meals than a sample of three meats, but I'm not complaining. The pretzel sticks were outstanding. You can take home your favorite beers in four packs of cans.

Great food, very rich and filling. The beer is cold, the staff is super friendly, a must try if you're in St Albans.

Love the food but more then once now I’ve placed orders with specific pick up times and had to wait 15 minutes longer for it to be ready. We’re talking hours and hours of prep time. Very disappointing quality of service. So if you want good food and need to kill some time, eat here.
