A bunch of flavors and different options of how to get your ice cream (cone, dish, milkshake, sundae, float, frappe, ice cream cookie toppings and syrup.) They always have a friendly staff. It’s located in the perfect place in town to walk to or for a family to go after a sports game, lunch/dinner or a hot day in the sun.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp you walk up to order. The main area to sit and eat allows enough room to stay in line with a wheelchair , to roll up to the window to order and to turn around to return back down the ramp.

Loved the Maple soft serve cone! There is plenty of seating. It was the perfect location to meet up with a friend and enjoy a sweet treat.

It's a classic milk house, best one in town, and it's perfectly located for hot days.

Our favorite local ice cream shop!

$4.50 for a small soft serve is ridiculous. Pizza Man in Lyndonville has it for half that price.

Everytime I go it's always been wonderful

Too expensive. $6.50 for medium soft serve. I did have a waffle cone. However I can go to Big Cones in Wells River and get a medium in a waffle cone with sprinkles for $3.50. Is what it is.

Milkhouse Ice Cream is great! They have a great selection of hard ice cream, and some soft serve (Vermonters call them creemees) as well! The building is cute, it’s conveniently located right next to a gas station with ample parking, and prices are SUPER reasonable compared to other ice cream places I’ve been to in Vermont. They have an amazing selection of sundaes!! They even have one that has apple cider donut holes and maple creemee on top! That’s the most Vermont-style ice cream sundae ever and it is AWESOME! I would highly recommend this sundae, and it’s also worth trying their flavor-burst creemees as well. This is certainly one of the better food options in St. Johnsbury - I will definitely be returning when I’m back in this area!
