I don't know why this place doesn't have a better rating. Maybe people here take good food, nice people and good service for granted. We don't. My daughters and I came here for dinner while on a trip up from Phoenix and we loved it! The server was really cool and we loved that it was in a beautiful old house. We even got a personally guided tour of the upstairs by another employee. And, because we loved the perfectly-cooked and deliciously-spiced food so much, the first night I rudely banged on the window to the kitchen to compliment the chef, who came out and gave us a most friendly reception and great information about the area. We will absolutely be back and we hope Jimmy, Adam and Todd are there when we do! Thanks again, guys.

Service was not the greatest. Took a long time to come and take out order. It was not busy and our server never came around to check how everything was and if we needed another drink. Food was OK. Salad bar was iffy and the soup was not very good.

My grandmother and I had an amazing experience tonight. We stayed at the hotel and came in for dinner. I mentioned I had some allergies and our waiter Nguyen was very attentive of my needs. The food was so delicious. The new chef definitely worked some magic. We will be next time we are in town.

We tried tuna burger and it was sooo good! They even replaced fries with mashed potatoes when we asked. Yummy

New Chef is well schooled. We’re locals that heard the Chef is amazing and the food has changed to the plus side. My girlfriend had the Steak au Poivre cooked to perfection and I opted for the delectable Chicken Marsala. We live in neighborhood close by and the service was spot on. We’ll be back!!!

I went to the restaurant with my family to have a dinner since it was our last night in VT. We waited almost an hour for our food. The food was okay, nothing special. The broiled scallop was soaked in a ton of butter which I didn't like but I made no complaints. We finished eating, ordered a second round of drinks and asked for the check. We paid our bill and started to leave. As we were leaving, I realized our server Nguyen was saying something to us and he looked upset. I asked if he was talking to us and he replied he had a problem with the tip we gave him. I dont know why he felt it was okay to follow us out of the restaurant to confront us. First of all, it is a tip for a service we paid a lot of money for. Giving a tip is voluntary so I found it very offensive that he thought it was okay to follow us out of the restaurant to demand a bigger tip. I am definitely not visiting this restaurant again.

My wife and I went on a Thursday night. I had the tuna steak which was excellent. My wife had the maple salmon which she loved as well. This place is a gem waiting to be realized. Our waiter said the place has a new chef and new management. Can't wait to visit again. FYI previous reviews must pertain to the previous chef, etc. because this place is excellent.

Nice meal. Convenient location for our hotel. Friendly service. I recommend.

Beautiful building and dining area. The food left much to be desired. The sliders were cold. The shrimp tacos were so drowned in chili sauce that they were almost inedible. Also, seemed like one shrimp cut into pieces for each taco. The chili sauce was so spicy, I had to drain and blot it away to eat what I could. Service was fine.

I remember it as what's your beef. Still awsome.

If you want to experience a pretty bad chicken fetuccine Alfredo or the strangest pumpkin ravioli (think pumpkin pie but ravioli) I would recommend eating here. Fiddlehead IPA was a win, waitstaff was pretty decent, food... That they need to work on.

Good dinner, nice wait staff. The seafood ravs were tasty.

The only reason this restaurant exists is because of the multitude of hotels that surround it and the transitory nature of the clientele, no one must return after the first visit. The mains are just ok and the sides are unimaginative. Everything is overpriced, the service is discombobulated, and the kitchen becomes overwhelmed with an influx of four tables. I would not recommend this place to anyone that enjoys dining out. A second visit is totally out of the we question.

The atmosphere in both the pub & the restaurant were quaint & friendly. My friend and I both had theme soup & salad bar. There were 3 types of soups and lots of salad items. It was very extremely good.
