Loved it! My second time there, and both times food was amazing, service was fantastic. Nice, cozy place and really pleasant staff. Recomending to everyone and can't wait to go again.

The food is always good and the service is always fanastic. Take advantage of the specials, but the seafood broil and steak medallions are well above average staples. Great drinks too.

An amazing place!! Food is outstanding. Service is amazing. Thanks to all!! Drinks were delicious. The special seafood dish was so incredible. Zero complaints here. You will not be sorry and i eat at tons of places. I’ll be back again when im town.

Food was great! Our escargot did not come out with our salads, but the waitress did bring it out after being asked. We loved the ambience and cozy feel. We would love to return at least one more time before they close their doors.

We had delicious PEI muscles for an appetizer. For the main we had pork, schnitzel and steak tenderloin tips. Both were very good. And we had a nice bottle of French wine. All in all the food was very good and the service was also very good. We set upstairs which was more formal. This is a great spot for fine dining and they have been around forever with an excellent reputation. Highly recommend.

I hate to say this about Pauline's because we love the place but last night was brutal. We waited and waited for our appetizers. My mussels were great but my wife's Waldorf salad was more like Coleslaw. We waited and waited and waited again for our entrees without ever even getting a refill of water. Again my sea bass was good but my wife's beef medallion salad had one of the four medallions absolutely charred and inedible. After two hours of waiting we were promptly given the check.
I've been going to Pauline's for decades and can ALWAYS count on a delicious meal. The rack of lamb special I had tonight was one of the best I have EVER had. The service is consistently professional

We had a lovely Valentine's dinner at Pauline's! Service was super-slow (25 minutes for some bread) causing the food to be warm instead of hot (except the escargot!). This will not deter us from returning though, as this is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. The food is always spectacular.

Valentine's Day: - ordered and after 45 min told waitress if the French onion soup wasn't coming soon and our meals would be out to skip the soup. She told us the soup was already being made and could not be cancelled. -20 min pass and the waitress says there will be no soup. Oh, and Beef Wellington take a long time since it is wrapped in pastry (as described and I completely understand is normal) -waitress lectures on how it is the busiest night. Yes, we know, and you took reservations so you knew exactly how many patrons you'd have. - another 15 min pass. The beef Wellington isn't wrapped in pastry. It is a steak sandwiched between two puff pastry “buns”. Not as described and why so long? Steak had gristle. - got bill. Soup still on bill which when she heard us discussing it finally took it off. Left and didn't stay for dessert. Beyond disappointing because I used to frequent Pauline's when I first lived here many years ago. With fond memories, brought my husband... so underwhelming.

The waitress kept overlooking us. It took a very long time for appetizer to come and when our dinner came the steak tips were barley etible so tough. Did not send baxk due to waiting over an hour to get our dinner.
We are regulars to Pauline's Cafe and have always had a positive experience! The food is delicious, there is a wide variety of drinks, the ambiance inviting and intimate, and the staff attentive and pleasant! Highly recommend!

Pauline's is that place you pass a thousand times and promise yourself you are going to go (back) there. GO! The food at Pauline's is consistently very good. I've yet to have a meal that was sub-par. The staff is wonderful and attentive-but not intrusive. It's the perfect place for friends to gather or even an adult date night. Comfortable and unpretentious.

Unfortunately we hit Pauline's on a bad evening. Our dinner took over 2 hours to receive. I have been a patron of Pauline's for decades and never had a bad experience before . Apparently one chef couldn't make it it. The two service women were great and worked so hard, kept their cool and were professional at all times. There were four in our group and Pauline's comped a round of drinks and took a percentage off our bill. I appreciate all they did to do the best they could under the situation. Although it was a very disappointing evening, I will go back because of their history of being a great restaurant. The ratings would have been much higher if the situation had been different.
