The food was amazing. very large portions so lunch the next for sure. i had the crispy chicken Alfredo and it was so fresh and creamy, my husband had the clam strips and also very fresh and cooked perfectly. we will be back.

We have eaten at the Rotisserie many times, and even wrote reviews about them for Trip Advisor. We have a Groupon voucher purchased in good faith. We recently called to inquire about their Covid protocols. They told us they no longer honored Groupon. No explanation, just no Groupon. We contacted Groupon, who in turn contacted the Rotisserie. They were unable to get the restuarant to cooperate. We wrote emails to the Rotisserie ourselves, asking to consider taking the vouchers at half their face value. No response whatsoever. Covid has been hard of the hospitality industry I know, but to treat good customers like this in inexcusable. A deal is a deal, they used to say...

Didnt post this but husband took us to The Rotisserie for dinner Saturday. Patrick was the server, bartender, host, all around great fellow and made great drinks. It wasnt busy yet as we had reservations relatively early. We ordered the ranch potato skins for an appetizer. For the mains, I had the grilled (comes fried or grilled) chicken sandwich with cheddar, lettuce mayo and honey mustard. No fricken joke, besides sweetwaters, best HM I've had hands down. Honey of mine ordered the roto burger with cheddar, lettuce and mustard. (Can you tell we dont really like our veggies, I know, for shame). Both came with french fries but had the option to substitute at no extra cost. The portion size was massive and the price was quite inexpensive for what we got! We both ordered bacon on our sandwiches but didnt get it, which was totally fine because I have NEVER, IN MY LIFE, had such a moist, well seasoned chicken sandwich. Anywhere. It didn't need the bacon. Food was out in a timely manner and everyone loved hanging out with my son, the food monster.

My family and I are visiting from Texas and this place is sooo good! We came here for brunch and were so impressed we came back for dinner! Portions are huge ! We have had a whole variety of food and there has not been an item anyone has not liked!

We choose to eat in their attached to the building. Cool night 60ish was protected from wind, we were comfortable. Food was excellent along with service

My wife and I ordered escargot to start with. We can't say anything bad about it because it was the first time either of us had ever tried it. The enrees were a different matter. I ordered the shrimp scampi which tasted nothing like shrimp scampi. It had a lot of tomatoes and mushroom which took over the flavor and the sauce had no trademark garlic flavor, or really any flavor to speak of until I loaded it with salt. My wife had the hot turkey sandwich. The bread-I think Texas toast- was yeasty and burnt. The chunks of turkey were dry and looked terrible, and the gravy had a peculiar tangy flavor and also tasted as though it had been way over floured. Both dishes were inedible and were returned basically untouched. We asked to speak to the owner as we knew he was on the grounds but we were told he was too busy. We were not offered any compensation, and as I mentioned, unable to speak to the owner. We ended up paying $42 (not including tip)for what was essentially 6 tiny snails and some water. Very disappointed, will not be returning.

Our waiter/host was wonderful. He was a lot of fun, very personable and attentive. Our app was Escargot, something neither of us had tried before so we decided to give it a whirl. It seemed to taste ok ( we really have nothing to compare it to, but we'd still consider it decent). Unfortunately our entrees left much to be desired. The shrimp scampi my fiance had included tomatoes and mushrooms, which monopolized the flavor, and the sauce tasted extremely bland and unlike anything we've ever had in this dish. No taste of garlic or any other typical scampi flavorings, we were pretty disappointed. I had a simple hot turkey sandwich with gravy. The turkey was in large chunks and incredibly (cause someone to choke) dry, the bread it was on tasted yeasty and burnt, and the gravy was so disgusting I really have no words to describe it. We explained to our waiter what the issues were and he was very understanding. We didn't ask to have anything "comped" but thought that when both dishes were returned practically full and untouched a minor discount might be given. Nope. We asked to speak to the manager (owner) if he was available, but we were told he was busy (must've been from to-go orders because we didn't see any other customers there). We paid out $43, not including tip, and left. Honestly if the owner had come out for just a minute or if we had been given something of a discount for 2 inedible meals we would consider going back, but as it stands today was the last time we go to Rotisserie.2 stars for what we assume was decent escargot and a really cool waiter.

First time we've stopped here. We're actually from NH and traveled here to shop ,,, very rural where we are! We had an outstanding lunch and this place will be a regular stop on our visits. I had fried clam strips and my partner had fish and chips, We also ordered the seafood chowder. All of our food was excellent -- fresh, tasty and delicious. The chowder was full of shrimp and sea scallops ... great. The french fries would give Al's a run for its money and the seafood was good. As former Mainers we think we are good judges of seafood. Here are the small negatives. Our waitress tried but she was forgetful and disorganized. I doubt she got any training. She was pleasant and meant well but made us a little frustrated. Second, we are in our 70s and 80s and safety during the virus is especially important for us. Although we were seated outside there was a table nearby with a couple of gentlemen chatting, They were soon joined by an older gentleman and then an elderly couple ... nobody was wearing a mask! Even though they were outside and obviously knew each other well, it made us uncomfortable to see no masks in site for any of them,. BUT, as I said before, a really good lunch with generous portions. We will definitely be back. BTW I can't figure out where the other reviews came from. Were we at the same restaurant?
