I ended up going to this location based on the ratings, while on vacation with the family. The rating doesn't reflect the actual food, establishment, nor dining experience.The service and lady working on her own to get everything done was amazing, but the food was subpar, the dining area was grimy, and the washrooms were unkept.I'm being sure to leave a poor review to let the next family on vacation know what they're in for, and not go based on the skewed high review rating attached to this place.Parking: There isn't an issue to find parking due to multiple establishments in the same location.

FOOD POISONINGWe chose this restaurant during our recent ski trip based on the good reviews. The positives were the fast and friendly service, the portions of the fish dinner and the Greek salads were good. However the big minus was the food poisoning that was received as a result of a chicken tenders meal. She was the only one to order this and the only one to get so sick that she lost 2 days of skiing and vacation. Don’t let the exterior and greasy spoon atmosphere scare you off, but think twice before choosing to eat at this establishment …not worth the risk.

First time going to this place while visiting the Burlington area from London and let me say 10 STARS!!! Food was so authentic and real and that's coming from a londoner. Lady in the front was the sweetest and courteous person in Vermont serving up the best mushy peas and fish and chips I've eaten besides my mums ofc.Crispy and well battered fish, thick crunchy chips with fresh coleslaw making my mouth water thinking about it soooo yummy. I dream about this regularly actually every night.

Unassuming spot but we truly enjoyed the food so much!1. Cheesy Garlic Bread ($6.95)Loved this! Owner was so generous with the cheese. 2. Cod fish platter ($18.95)If you want to try other seafood, get the platter! It comes with shrimp and scallops. I love how fresh everything was but the scallops might be a bit overfried.3. House special ($22.95)This comes with the haddock fish - really fresh and delicious. Overall, we preferred the cod fish but they were both good.

I had the fish and chips. It was great. My friend had that and the clam chowder and he said the chowder was great also. The server was fantastic and food was brought out very fast. The place is located back in a side and you cannot see it from the road. It may not look the greatest on the outside but it is worth coming in. It appeared some folks were ordering take out.

Do not let looks deceive you. One of the BEST fish and chips I've ever had. The cod was flavorful and not overly battered. The fries? Crispy. We also ordered calamari and it was delicious. The service was great. They were out of some drinks and menu items but what they did have was amazing. In terms of the ambiance....i would like to leave a note to the owner: the food was amazing; however, the establishment itself could use some renovation. If it weren't for the positive Yelp reviews, one could easily mistake this place as unkept and lifeless. I'd recommend to get rid of the dark tint on the windows, buy some plants, and find other ways to add "life" to this establishment. I think it has a lot of potential but it needs some aesthetic work. Overall my experience? 9/10.

But our last order delivered had been wrong and we were in the area, so we tried pick-up.I was surprised to see what a dive it was. The order was correct, but the quality of it rendered it inedible. Whatever oil they used to fry the fish in tasted bad and well-used, if you know what I mean. The only item decent was the cole slaw.I'm thinking the next time I want fish and chips, I'm going to one of the local bars for it. But never here again.

Great little place with delicious food. I'm here for work and wanted some shrimp so I searched on Google and this place popped up thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did because it's delicious. Bonus: the girl working the front is very friendly and very beautiful. Keep up the good work.

The calamari is awesome! everyone else in the party had haddock fish and chips and loved it. onion rings were a little overcooked. Wish they used the same batter on the rings that were on the calamari. Have several booths and tables. Nothing fancy but the food, portions and price were great. Service was good too.

The fish and chips is so good here. The batter was light, thin and crispy. I would've posted a photo but we ate it all before I could take a photo! I also like how there is an option to get just the fish with coleslaw and opt out of the fries. They also have a spicy tarter sauce which I've never had before but was delicious!
