We found three seats at the bar in front of Sam the bartender. Huge score. The burgers are off the hook, cooked perfectly, full of flavor and delicious. The Aaron Cheney balls were also very good as an appetizer. Fries are huge. If you order you may want to share. Homemade lemoncello at the bar has me wanting to return for lunch on Saturday. Huge fan!

Docs Pond is an absolute must-have meal when in Stowe, VT. After a rainy Saturday afternoon shopping in Stowe Village, my boyfriend and I stopped in at Docs Pond around 2pm. From reading the reviews, we knew the restaurant was very popular and usually there's a waitlist, and we had about a 20 minute wait. We were seated and quickly brought water in the bar section, which has a great atmosphere. We had a beer earlier in the day, so we opted to share a root beer float. It was delicious. They source the ice cream from a local Vermont creamery in this icy and delicious glass. We ordered a bunch of different bites for a late lunch. My boyfriend had the dry rub wings and calamari. The wings were enormous and super crispy. The dry rub was flavorful and the blue cheese was very creamy. The calamari was sautéed with a bread crumb topping and in a very spicy and flavorful broth. If you like spice and heat, this dish is for you. I had the simple green salad and macaroni and cheese. The salad had a maple ginger dressing that was the best dressing I've ever had! The macaroni and cheese came out super hot, creamy and with a thick crust of bread topping. The quality of food, service and atmosphere can't be beat. Definitely come eat at Docs Pond, you won't be disappointed.

This place is 5 star! We didn't experience a wait but it was Thursday during off-season. The meal was incredible and food insanely delicious. Service was stellar as well. Definitely make a trip!

This place is overly hyped up. People said we had to try it while visiting so we waiting and one and half for a table. We looked at the menu through yelp photos before hand to see what we would order and when We sat down and most of the things we wanted were no longer on the menu. The menu selections were so limited. It's either a burger , chicken or wings basically. The service was good but unfortunately most of the food was basic. The drink were ok. If you do go there get the dry rub chicken wings and the quarter chicken these were the things that was best. The burger was ok too. The painkiller drink was actually pretty good.

A phenomenal low-key find, with a sweet, attentive waitress and great beer list. Arancini, burger, and squash soup were perfect after a long day of driving!

Upon arriving in Stowe Vermont (a place I had never been) looking for food after a three hour plus ride from home. Yelp recommended a few places, read a few reviews, looked where we were situated and decided upon the one that had wings; two kinds mind you, traditional buffalo and the dry rub flavor was Alabama white BBQ sauce. Order was taken, before long the plates were out of the kitchen with two big bowls of jumbo wings. Table was prepped with wet naps and bowls to deposit the bones. The wings were cooked to perfection. not dry, nice and juicy. The buffalo flavored were not fall off the bone juicy, but instead fully cooked and tight. The Alabama flavored wings held tightly to their dry rub upon them. Like I said, a three hour drive made the stomach wanting more! So, I ordered the Doc Smash Burger (the double) Oh My....I've had the chain burgers, homemade burgers, my mom's burgers, but this was epic. Fresh cheese, burger cooked correctly (to be honest the waitress did not write down the specifics on how I wanted my burger and i thought for sure she would get it wrong. mea culpa!) juicy and flavorful. no burger had tasted so good. I was stuffed (as well as I should be, right?) If I ever get back to Vermont, I know where I'm going!

We joined the waitlist ahead of time but it took longer than expected. Thankfully we weren't too hungry and once we got seated we mostly got snack type foods and desserts. The beet salad was super fresh and had lots of goat cheese. The fries were perfect shoestring cut with garlic Mayo. Vanilla milkshake nice and thick. And the Samoa pie for dessert was fantastic and just like the cookie

My pictures this time don't do them justice. Nice small menu, I would 100% recommend getting the Alabama dry spice wings with the white bbq sauce, the pink potatoes with cheddar ju (incredible), cheddar fritters, and the smash burger! Single patty is perfect, fries are all carte but it hit the spot. They have VT peach smoothie DIPA on draft at 8.2%. Enjoy the cool breeze outside and some damn good food!

Not to many restaurants have a dj spinning records and an outstanding beer selection. Doc Ponds thanks for the great food and service the smash burger was a delight and the 1/2 chicken with chimichuri was enough for 2 and cooked to perfection. Please check them out!
