Scallops, steak tips med rare and the oysters on half shell. Excellent
Absolutely excellent!! We enjoyed everything from food to staff! We'll be back!
We are here May 28 for dinner. I am not sure what happened, but our meal was nothing like the glowing reviews I read on Yelp. I ordered the bouillabaisse and my husband ordered chicken piccata. Both dishes were surprisingly bland, bland enough that we needed to doctor them up with a fair amount of salt and pepper. Unfortunately, our waiter disappeared for quite a while (he was supposed to be getting my husband a beer, but didn't remember to bring it till we were about to leave), so we couldn't get any salt or pepper. The food was cooked well, just under salted and not particularly flavorful. To be honest, the food and service would have been fine if the meal cost about half of what it did. (The next night we ate at Michael's in the Hill, which cost about the same but was exquisitely delicious. That just made us feel even more disappointed in our meal at Harrison's.)
Best food in Stowe! Food, service and ambiance all added to a great evening out.
Harrison's was great. The food was awesome and the waitstaff was was too. We wanted oysters and I was disappointed when we saw the weren't on the menu. The waitress said there was an issue with the shucker. She went back and with the help of the bartender she brought us out some that were perfectly shucked. That's what I call service!
Loved our dinner at Harrison's. Super cozy little spot. Staff was conscientious of Covid protocol so it didn't feel sketchy. I had the venison meatloaf sandwich which was crazy good...garlic aioli, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese. Not a weird flavor (some worry about venison being gamey, but not an issue). My wife and daughter had chicken piccatta loaded with capers, fresh green beans, mashed potatoes, etc. My youngest daughter had kids steak tips which she devoured. The desserts were great...the carrot cake was fantastic. Glad we came down to Harrison's while in Stowe!
We have gone to Harrison’s every time we visit Stowe. The food is always incredible, and the ambiance is very relaxing and impressive. The wait staff has always been nice, and helpful; and the owner is also a very nice and personable man. I am just impressed at how much care and thought they put into their dishes. I would definitely recommend getting a reservation for Harrison’s!
Best restaurant in Stowe ! There's a reason you have to make a reservation about 2 weeks in advance!
First time at Smugglers Resort. After spending 24 hrs sorting out an issue with the room, I was given a voucher for dinner here.My 2 kids and I ordered steaks and veggies.I regret to say the food came out luke warm-cold. We waited for what felt like 30-40 minutes after ordering. The waitress did not check on us at all. They may have been busy. It didn’t appear that way but it was our first time there.I had to ask for things multiple times. I even had to ask for the check.... I waited 15 minutes before asking for the check, assuming the waitress would see we were done eating but she kept passing our table. I was disappointed.
Amazing as always. Great food. Excellent service. Very friendly staff.
Love this place! This has been a favorite of mine for years. Amazing food & service. Very cool atmosphere.
Very delectable meals here! Would take my paw paw here again
Delicious! I had the pecan crusted salmon and husband had the steak tips. Both were flavorful and well paired with the wine selection of evening. Our only regret is we spoiled our appetites with the calamari appetizer. The calamari was oily and not very crisp. Too bad, as the dessert menu looked great. We’ll go back but will skip any appetizers as everything else is so good. Pleasant and helpful staff.
Picked up their burrito saled with crab cakes, chicken picatta and carrot cake for take out. All traveled well and tasted great.
Amazing food, service, drinks, and absolutely terrific place. Highly recommended. We had a great time
