Nice selection of maple products in one place.
Very nice people
Great maple products all fresh made right there.
The best Maple syrup we’ve had. We will definitely stop in again the next time we’re in the area to buy more syrup and maple syrup products.
Great syrup! picked it up on a trip to Vermont, they should have an online store. I will try to order again over the phone.
Saw this place on tripadvisor while looking for places to visit while in the Stowe area. This location was highly rated for maple syrup and we were running out at home so made the stop. The owner greeted us, showed us and offered us to taste the different grades of maple syrup. He was friendly and informative, the place was charming and we purchased (2) large bottles for ourselves and a smaller one for a gift. We will definitely be back when visiting Stowe in the future.
We wish we had come here first instead of buying more expensive less qualitative candy and syrup from other stores in Stowe. The inside is a heavenly smelling cabin attached to a glass walled small syrup making facility. The products are amazing, artisan-made and much cheaper than any of the other places we have visited in Stowe or around. The very knowledgeable shop keeper made time to make us sample various grades of syrup and to explain to our little girl the syrup making process. A rare genuine hidden gem. Of a place that no trip to Stowe should be complete without.
The owner was extremely nice and explained about the manufacturing process. It was very interesting and we had tasting of the several maple types.
During a day trip to Stowe I had to stop for some maple candies! Stowe Maple had a fresh batch! The man behind the counter (owner?) was very friendly had welcoming. I can't wait for our next trip to VT, I will be sure to stop again
On our way back to Burlington from Stowe and we found this quick stop to buy some maple products. The owner, Steve? was kind enough to show us the different grades of maple syrup. His friendliness and charm made the difference and so we bought a large bottle of medium grade. He had other products in the store that were reasonably priced and interesting. Definitely be back here when we return in the fall.
Oh my goodness, stop here! The prices are beyond reasonable and the product is delicious! The entire shop smells phenomenal and is great for maple lovers.
Quaint little shop with great maple-themed souvenirs.
You can go to the intown stores or you can find people selling roadside syrup but this is so much more that the syrup. You see where they boil it down, you take to the owner who does the work collecting boiling and bottling the syrup. While we were there we stopped twice. The owner is worth the stop. He is friendly and oh by the way he is likely to be bottling the syrup right in front of you one at a time. The second stop was to buy presents for friends and family. The owner helpped us box it up and ship it back to Colorado.. I love Mom and Pop places but this ine is FIRST Class
Knowledgeable dude and not too much of a tourist trap
Tried samples and bought some pure maple syrup!
Great people and great maple syrup and maple syrup products. Good prices as you are buying direct from the producers. The have an interesting display of old syrup containers and a great selection of syrup grades and sizes as well as other products. Definitely worth a quick stop!
Super nice and friendly gentlemen! Very informative tooo!
We ended up at this place after searching everywhere for dark maple syrup. They process and can maple syrup right on premises. Their orchards are located across the street. The store owner was very friendly and gave us great advice while we sampled their products. In addition to maple syrup, they also sell other home made maple products like maple sugar candies and jam. Last, but not the least, their prices are very reasonable and they are much cheaper than any store nearby.
A true SWEET SPOT
Great prices. Very friendly and informative. Love the signs...they are hilarious. They ship too! Go here if you want maple syrup, candies, popcorn or brittle. You have to try it to understand....so good! Small souvenir bottles too.
Leaving my home State was hard, but Stowe Maple Products has helped by sending me a little bit home to me... ! Thank you for making it so easy to order and sent to our family. Love from Truckee CA.
Great prices, friendly owner, the best syrup.
we have been coming to Vermont from Hawaii for 30 years now. I don't quite remember which year we found this lovely stop. However, once we found it, we have returned every year. Steve has always taken the time to "talk story" with us. We check in on each other's family and what is new. IF you need to take home maple syrup and all the other maple products this is the place to go. Every year, there are new products to add to our gifts to take home.
My brother lives in Stowe: a fair distance from my home in Colorado. We first got acquainted to Steve and Robin visiting in Stowe. Since then we have been ordering their syrup. It's been over 20 years now. We have two teen agers who have been raised on home made pancakes, waffles, and french toast served with Stowe Maple Products syrup. When we go out, our boys will not order pancakes or such because they don't like the stuff restaurants pass off for syrup. We ran out of syrup this morning. It has created a minor crisis in our home. Gotta go now and call Stowe.
If anyone is ever in the Stowe, Vermont, area, they should be sure to visit this store. The people tell about gathering and cooking down the sap to make syrup. It is very interesting to learn about Maple trees. There is also an interesting story about one of their cows that was given to them because no one else wanted it.For the artists, be sure to look at their famous 'Pi Cow So'.
Very friendly, we were allowed to taste everything and it was hard to decide what to take home. The maple was a good price.
Very interesting to learn the difference between the flavor and colors explained by the nice owner. Great place to put together a gift basket with syrup, maple candy, pecan brittle and the cookbook.
The best maple syrup we've tried so far. Great color and viscosity and the taste is great! OK
We were happy when we came upon this place, we were able to sample the syrup to determine what we really liked which was a big plus for us also the prices are very reasonable. The owner was so helpful in directing us to some of the local sites to see while we were visiting the area...
The owner took time to answer ALL my questions (of which I had many). I had only ever purchased supermarket maple, albeit decent stuff from Trader Joe's, so I wanted to learn a little. I was able to to sample their line of product without any pressure to purchase. I enjoy buying products from the hardworking individuals who create them so this was a nice treat. When we run out back in Philadelphia, I will be sure to order more.
Great service! It is a small shop, but you will find your light, medium, and dark Gade A maple. As well as maple candys, maple popcorn and maple nut brittles. Everything seems to be made in-house and at reasonable prices. Very happy with my visit and purchases!
This is one of the best family owned businesses selling their maple syrup products. I first bought their syrup 10 years ago. I recently went back to Stowe and discovered they were still there. I shipped syrup home and recently called and had them ship more ( which arrived in 3 days ). The owners are super friendly and you feel as if you have known them for years. Plus their syrup is delicious!
Dec. 2017. Visited this quaint little store on my first visit to Stowe, VT. Steve knows his syrup for sure. He was great helping me make the right decisions on which types of syrup to purchase. Since I was from Florida, I had him ship the syrup for me, so I wouldn't have the hassle on the plane. His prices are very reasonable and shipping is cheaper than anywhere else. Steve is wonderful, if there is a problem they are very quick to correct and respond. So if you want the BEST maple syrup in the country don't hesitate to have Steve ship it to you. Call him and he will give you all the information you need to make the right decision for your taste buds.
My husband and I visited over Columbus Day weekend. The store owner was really nice and provided free samples of three of their maple syrups. The store has a nice variety of maple syrup, and other maple products such as candies and peanut brittle. There was maple syrup in regular bottles, glass bottles, and specialty maple leaf bottles that look like a nice gift. We got maple syrup for us, a few for gifts, some maple peanut brittle, and some little maple candies all for $29. The whole experience of going to the store was low key and really enjoyable. I would definitely visit again and recommend it.
Stopped to pick up some souvenirs. Maple syrup was freshly bottled as it was still warm! Friendly staff.
We were told to visit Stowe Maple Products from a local in the area, and we're glad we did. The owner spent a ton of time with us talking about their farm and the process to make maple syrup. We sampled all of the different syrups they offer (all delicious). She told us they have survived all these years without a website or social media - just word of mouth - and we can see why. The syrup is wonderful and the owners are lovely. If you're in the area, definitely make a stop in.
