Rates are absolutely disgusting. They should be ashamed. Abyss holes!

Parked in the paid-parking lot for the convenience. It is $30, which I was fine with, because I got there at 10:30. There are many signs, but I did not realize that you have to pay upon entry. We finished around 2PM, & when I scanned the QC code to pay, it was no longer an option. I had a physical ticket on my car for $75. I appealed, which was denied. The response indicated that there was a $25 break, but that was from the cost of a late payment of $100. Given the cost of skiing at Stowe, I am disgusted, & will never go there again. I understand that they subcontract this out, but Vail/Stowe need to own this.

Our trip to Stowe officially made me a Ski lover! My partner and I bought the Epic Pass this season (‘23-‘24), and we had a blast playing at a few of the east coast mountains. We skiied at Jack Frost/Big Boulder (mostly day trips because it is closest to where we live), Hunter Mountain, Okemo, and lastly STOWE. It was a magical experience. We didn’t even have great weather but we made the best of it! We started at Spruce Peak- which I recommend because of the resort aesthetic, lodge/hotels, and ice skating rink! It is so cute and looks like a winter wonderland. Then we made it to Mount Mansfield. Stowe has a lot of varied terrain and fun trails for all levels - I started out on Greens but I had the most fun once I felt comfortable enough to ride Blues because that opened up the mountain with more trails and amazing views. I’d say Okemo is a better starter mountain for total beginners, but Stowe also has some friendly Greens and the resort is absolutely stunning. Go to the top of the mountain and get a breathtaking view! I have never seen mountains like this on the east coast (I lived in Colorado for a few years), and I have to say Vermont has a special place in my heart. The staff was also very friendly and the resort was accessible and inclusive. We will definitely be back next year!

The parking at Stowe is handled extremely poorly. As you know Vail resorts now charge for parking at most of their resorts because I guess they need the money or they will go under. They claim the reason is to eliminate traffic and to promote car pooling. So that is exactly what I did but when I showed at the resort on a Sunday there was no one in the lot to provide me the car pool code to avoid paying for parking. When I got back to my car I found a ticket on it for $75!!!! I tired to find someone to talk to about it but once again the parking was void of any employees. I tired to appeal the ticket but got no where and was denied. Oh and the grooming is bad. Very bad in spots.

Everything is so flat. Resort for beginners only, save yourself some money and go to Europe please…

Stowe is where my snowboarding dream begins. It’s the one of the best Mountain that Northeastern can offer and it’s absolutely No.1 place for me to go. Great terrains for all-levels, great ski in/out resort, great food, great people, and most importantly the great vibe. 5 stars and highly recommended!!

**This review is based upon the parking situation that I encountered as we were leavings They won’t allow a reply email to be sent, so I had to leave it here.We LOVED the mountain and resort. The third party parking company could use some work.To Whom It May Concern,Thank you for your reply. I did not enter the parking area without being waived on by a designated Stowe employee. I was fully aware of the parking fee— when the staff member asked if I was with the two vehicles in front of me and I said yes, he told me I could just proceed without a ticket (I was the only vehicle with a single occupant; should I demand to pay or follow his direction?).As mentioned in my appeal, I would have been happy to pay the $30 fee. Based on principle alone, I should not be held responsible for a staff member’s error. I just paid the inflated $50 fee. I find it odd that this scenario would not fall under extenuating circumstances and addressed with staff to avoid in the future. We very much enjoyed our day on the mountain— so much so that we planned to buy Epic passes for next season. We typically ride at Killington and our friends invited us here for the first time. We truly loved the resort and anticipated staying at the lodge the next time we drive up.While I’m sure a few Epic passes doesn’t matter to the mountain in the bigger picture, I want to note that I find myself reconsidering. I gladly paid $600+ for three day passes on Saturday. It’s sad that you couldn’t see the clear reasoning in this scenario for the fee to be reduced to the original. Thanks for the minor adjustment.

Great resort with awesome views. Plenty of trails and summit lodges, gondolas, high-speed lifts, and more. Highly recommend.

What a stunning resort !!

Would not recommend Stowe. They don’t groom their trails. For the high price tag per day you would think parking is free since other resorts are. There are other resorts that are much better that will turn on their snow machines when there has not been any snowfall. The trails were super icy. Avoid at all costs.

Didn’t make it very clear where, or how to pay. And then it’s over two times as much? i spent an arm and a leg staying here for two days and got fees on everything. it was gonna be $60 to park in the covered lot we were already in. And we heard it was free parking on weekdays on the mansfield side. Then we get back to a $100 fee for not paying? In the chaos of parking on a pow day morning, i missed the sign that says friday isn’t a weekday anymore. Can’t it just be the original amount, or at least like 10 bucks more? I feel like i committed a misdemeanor with this ticket. Who’s getting the hundred dollars, and do they really need it to teach me a lesson? Maybe just make us pay the amount and then make it ridiculous if we refused to pay it.A hundred bucks is a lot for me, and if $30 is enough to get the mountain by and cover costs, i don’t see why i now need to pay $100. Does the extreme amount really make the business stay afloat? I definitely don’t feel like my business is wanted here, as people of my income can’t just throw a hundred dollars around. I don’t feel like coming back here anymore. Also, there was only one blue run off the gondola… one of the main attractions of the mountain.. It was skied out because of it and way too packed. Otherwise, fun mountain. We had some good laps. But i feel like you’re paying for cool views and the historic aspect.

Came a few days after Presidents day on a weekday. Very good beginner and intermediate trails. Some ice but still much better than Okemo. (Moguls were icy though) If anyone is looking for beginner trails, I would def recommend Stowe over Okemo. (Okemo was very icy on the green the Monday after President's day) Lots of intermediate trails, more than we can try in one day. We will be back, Stowe!

We had a good day. Nice trails, well kept but they are narrow…when they are crowded it might be a problem.

What use to be a beautiful vacation spot for families has turned into a lgbt+ playground. Men dancing in their underwear, drag queens targeting children, Advertisements with inappropriate symbols etc. all during Presidents weekend when children are off from school. Go woke, go broke!
