Very friendly waitress. Food came fast but was just warm which surprised me because it was so fast. I had an omelet it was good. They serve fresh made jam which was so delicious.

I like breakfast food, I've been to 3 different Calico locations and all offer a better than average diner breakfast. They serve Fidalgo Coffee which is quite drinkable, and tasty. I can't believe I ate the whole breakfast burrito! Big bonus for our server, she's bright and cheerful. If we time it right I'm sure to be back!Plenty of parking too.

This cafe is very quaint and the food is okay. However, it’s a bit pricey for what you get. For example, I ordered quiche last week and it didn’t taste very fresh. It was dry AND they charged me $5 for the order of potatoes that came with it! Most of their baked goods are more expensive than items that are just as good at other places in Atown. I’ve been disappointed.I tried them again this morning. Still disappointed. My quiche was very dry. Filling was overcooked. Potatoes were also dry and had almost no taste. $24 with tip and that was with no drink! But my wait person was great. ? Wish I could say I will give the food another chance, but three times is not the charm in this case.

Scrumptous bakery items, cinnamon rolls & frosted sugar cookies are to die for! Excellent clam chowder, generous sized sandwich & salads! We've enjoyed various breakfast items, all wonderful, with a friendly staff & atmosphere.

Stopped in here for breakfast after working here in town for 4 years. Why did I wait so long !? We were greeted almost instantly and sat down very quickly. The coffee never stopped flowing..I mean my cup rarely got to have before it was toppled off again. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic and smelled out of this world ! I opted for the bacon Benedict, and if im being picky, the eggs were under done .(whites still runny), but the sauce made up for it as it was buttery good. The hash browns were double cooked just the way I like em too! I honestly can not wait to try more dishes! Got two cinnamon buns to go for my wife and kids, and I got to try a bite, and it was fantastic as well. Overall, I had a great experience. I wish prices were just a bit lower, but this is the way now a days. So I'm not going to hold that against them.
