Hashbrowns tasted like they were made with rancid old cooking oil. Change of ownership was not a good thing.

Emerald Downs has now taken over the Quater Shoot Cafe. Not the same!! Menu is less than a quarter of what it used to be. Male manager was rude. We walked out without ordering. Auburn lost a great breakfast place. We won't be back.We will miss Joe and Sally!

Closed. They should probably say that on their website

Looking for breakfast…said it was open on google. Go and it’s closed. You’d think a huge place like emerald downs worth millions would have the courtesy to inform the public that it’s closed??? Extremely

Quarter Chute is too much fun. Good food in family atmosphere and you can watch the horses train! The staff is friendly, like amazingly friendly….truly happy to see you. We had a group of 11 and it was no problem. Highly recommended!

Great food and plenty of seating. Love going with my elderly parents since they have been going here for years. So glad to see the Quarter Chute still open after all these years.

This. Was. Nasty. I ordered the chicken fried steak and gravy with eggs. It tasted like a frozen one that they tossed in the deep fried. The gravy tasted like it came out of a jar. Their deserts are from prepackaged items that are served individually wrapped. My husband got a steak that was blank, over cooked, and tasted and looked boiled. The "home made" jelly tasted like feet. It is cafeteria style which I don't mind. Watching the horses go by is cool. Everything was overpriced. You can't tip on your card you have to tip cash in the tip jar.The people there was so nice. They were helpful and friendly. They gave advice on what to eat (yikes) and told us how to get through their complicated line.Kid-friendliness: Kids would like it because of the horses.

Diamond in the rough! very great selection for breakfast and lunch and their prices are fantastic! It’s like a school lunch vibe with trays and you just move along a countertop grabbing drinks and such. But it’s right in line with the race track so the horses walk by for training and what not so you got scenery.

I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS VISIT! Food was tasty, ambience was just what i was looking for at a race track and it's cafeteria style so that's what it is. Everyone one i had small conversation with was very nice and when i go back to Seattle i will be returning. I ordered the Quarter Chute Omelette and yooooooo! It was Fire Jones and if someone doesn't name a horse Fire Jones already!

Best breakfast and service in the area. You won't regret going here. It's amazing. A fun new experience for many that will keep you coming back time and time again.

The food was great. I loved the chicken fried steak. perfectly crispy. delicious homemade jelly and hot sauce. lots and lots of options for baked goods, snacks, and drinksThe only reason I rate the service and atmosphere as a 4 is because when I first walked in I was given judgemental looks from 2 of the employees. I don't know if its because I have tattoos and piercings and it looked like their customers were mostly older folks? but it made me feel a little unwelcome at first

I had the biscuits and gravy with bacon. The biscuits and gravy was ok, bacon was a bit dried out. Service is good, food came out quick. The atmosphere is really nice, you can view horses heading to the track.
