Went with the Capone sandwich ? & a Fremont ale for my Saturday lunch outing. The individual who welcomed me, owner or manager, super friendly and helpful with lots of information about the establishment. I would definitely suggest stopping by and enjoying the food.Food: 5/5

The sandwiches are amazing and good prices. It was hard to find but well worth it.

The concept is misleading. Wine bar by night, deli by day. Hmmm. This is definitely not a deli. It is a full sit down restaurant. The sandwich was good but it did not live up to its price tag. Use the online ordering and pickup option if you are getting take away, there will be less disappointment.Edit re: owner's responseIt is unfortunate that restaurants have endured so many hardships the last few years. However, the customer is in fact the most important judge of any business. I'm glad so many of your customers' views of your concept are different from mine but it is still misleading to someone not familiar with your wine bar or "deli".

Looks like a bar from the front but a great place for sandwiches. We found this on Yelp while traveling and it was just a described. Weekday at lunch was not busy and although it took a moment to be seated the server was friendly. We decided to order 2 sandwiches and split them because we could not make up our minds. Both were fresh, hot and delicious. Although the smell of BBQ made me wonder if I should have gotten the pulled pork. Prices were right on point. Be aware that the store front says wine bar and bistro. Also parking difficult to understand. We parked across the street at grocery store. I would definitely go here again.

Awesome Deli! Love, love, love their "The Vamp" wrap and "The Capone" hot sandwich! The Deli is actually in Vinifera, a fine dining restaurant. The Smuggler's Deli was the owners' solution to keep his business open during the pandemic. A brilliant idea I must say. They have been in demand by customers that the Deli remained open even after the pandemic closures have been rescinded.

For first timers, it's called Vinifera Wine Bar & Bistro. Ordered The Blind Pig sandwich. OMG... Best pulled pork sandwich I have had in a long time! Lots of pulled pork, good portion of coleslaw. I also ordered a side of potato salad, personally, I wont order that again. I'm picky about potato salad. The lemonade is refreshing, not too sweet or tart.

Initially hard to find physically (hence the name) but absolutely worth it! Sandwiches were amazing and some of the best potato soup I've ever had. Perfect spot when your craving the perfect deli sandwich!

The food was good but the price is too much for the portion sizes

This place was amazing! Was in town on business and needed a quick bite to eat. Was a little confused when we walked in and saw a fine dining restaurant but the story about the deli is what kept businesses going through the pandemic, I won't spoil the story for you. I had the best BLT ever! And the rest of the team was very impressed also. Loved the ambiance of a fine dining restaurant and the service was spectacular. Will be my go to for a quick bite next time I am In town.

Almost wasn't sure I was in the right place since it shares space / switches identities in the afternoon to Vinifera. Probably could benefit with some different signage. Very friendly and helpful staff. I got a sandwich to go which was a little pricey but a lotta delicious! Loved the vibe of this place.

Got the owler and added turkey. And it was a delicious sandwich. Absolutely stacked with ingredients and super tasty. Will definitely be back to try another menu item. Quick friendly service and a reasonable price for the size.

all the sandwichs are really good fast prompt service

Average, not bad. Clean place. Got take out, service was very nice and somewhat quick. Got The Vamp wrap and a cup of clam chowder. The wrap was pretty good and fresh. Clam chowder- not bad for potato soup, but didn't taste any bit of seafood there at all, and barely had any nibs of clams in there, mostly just creamy soup with potatoes.

Holy cow, these sandwiches are yummy. Wife has had the Bootlegger BLT twice. I've had the Havana Lam and The Enforcer. Believe us when we say the sandwiches are as delicious as they look on the menu. I'm excited to continue making my way through the list!
