This was a fantastic spot for a vegetarian lunch. The curry was sweet. The yellow squeeze bottles have a tangy, chili sauce. The food was fresh and brought to our table with a smile. The prices were reasonable and the portions were good.

I have been visiting Emma's Vege House since going vegan back in 2014. I have brought non-vegan friends, and everyone agrees. The food is fresh and delicious, always, and the staff is friendly. Worth a visit even if you aren't vegan, but want something delicious and veggie forward.

I grew up on Bainbridge and I remember when Emmy’s was just a food vendor at the local farmers market and I loved their food as a kid. They make affordable vegan comfort food and anytime I visit the island it always hits the spot.

What an incredible island of culinary delight in the cold, cold, meat filled spot kf Seattle! I'd come back to BI just for the Curry soup again and again. Flavorful and filled with faux meat Emmy's has a plethora of choices to make you feel like you're dining at a star restaurant. On a cold winter evening, when the sun has sunk, and you're craving for warmth in the universe the curry soup is your salvation. No rest rooms. No heat. This is purely existence for the sake of eating the best there is.
If this place doesn't make it to a Jiron Dreams of Suahi documentary or Chef's Table I would be sad.

Great vegan spot on Bainbridge Island! All of our food tasted really fresh, with lots of veggies. The weather was lovely, so we enjoyed the outdoor seating - it's a great spot for people watching.

Wide variety of options on the menu at this darling stand. Takeout only but lots of seating out front. Served on pretty and unique tableware, we enjoyed all four entrees that we ordered. My favorite standout was the curry soup (#23).

I have been a patron of Emmy's for decades and this family owned restaurant has always held a very soft spot in my heart. Lin and Tin, the current married owners are always so lovely, warm, and serve up delicious food on the daily. Emmy's was a 100% vegan eatery before it was cool and trendy. Nestled on the corner of Madison and Winslow you have an ideal view for people watching and admiring nature. Emmy's is also a great option for COVID cautious clientele as all their seating is outside yet protected from the elements. Their Vietnamese comfort food is not only good for the heart and soul but it leaves you feeling truly well in all senses of the word!
My favorites are the Curry Noodles and #21 so you get a little bit of everything!

We found this place when we were desperate to find something we could eat - and we’ll definitely be back! Fresh ingredients everything is vegan and I hearing the omnivores around me talk about how much they enjoy their food. Updated from previous review on 2025-10-04
The food here was okay not too much flavor and too expensive. If it were a lower price point then I’d give it 4 starts. We are talking rice and broccoli and carrots costing me $50 for one person.
