Excellent. Perfectly mixed cocktails, outstanding performance from the kitchen as well. The steak was delicious, cooked just right, as were the vegetables, which is even harder to pull off imo.

World's rudest male server. I mean, just really. I understand good servers are hard to find but this guy was just Soo rude! Food is what you would expect here, but the service ensured I will never return

Shared some fries and Brussels which were okay but got the steak and it was way over cooked (while I ordered it medium rare). I got violently sick all night. Otherwise ok service but don’t trust the meat quality.

Great cocktails, great company and did I mention great cocktails? If you're a fan of good craft cocktails this is your place. I've been multiple times now and haven't been disappointed. It's now my go to spot on Bainbridge Island.

Meh... We ordered the crab cakes sandwich and the vegetarian special (grilled cauliflower). The cauliflower was not flavorful and the crab cake sandwich was just ok.

I really enjoyed my dinner at The Islander. I went on a quieter night, and the atmosphere and drinks were both excellent. The food is good: the lamb chops I had were well prepared, and the veggies were vibrant and flavorful. The meal itself was very standard American fare, and not too inventive, but if you're in the mood for meat and potatoes, this is a great place to go. The bartender was very friendly and attentive.

Cool whiskey bar atmosphere with creative drinks and great food. I highly recommend the pork tenderloin with mushroom cream sauce. So good, I wanted to lick the plate.

It would be hard to find a friendlier or more generous host than the co-owner named Cheston. My wife and I had dinner at the Islander last saturday and the food was terrific; i enjoyed the flavorful stuffed scallops and she had a well prepared burger. The interior is intimate and the service is first rate. In fact, after we departed, Cheston discovered my wife's purse at closing and knowing we were leaving town, tracked us down after closing and brought it to us. A wonderful gesture following a very nice meal in a very pleasant spot.

We popped in over a girls weekends and really enjoyed the food. My toddler and I worked quite a bit and really enjoyed each dish. We ordered the steak bites, Brussels sprouts, fried shrimp, and a new York strip. It was delicious! The gentleman on duty was nice and kept our water full. Highly suggested!!!

Can truly vouch for the Fish. The cod was perfectly perfect! Our food was eaten in the car, because we couldn't wait until we got home. That is how real food should taste.

Went to The Islander for the first time under its new ownership. My husband and I shared the burger and fries. Delicious! But the margarita! It was the best one I've had in quite some time. Thank you, Cheston. And thank you for the great service. We'll definitely be back.

Dinner tonight was perfect; steak cooked to perfection, vegetables done better than perfect if that’s possible; they had an amazing crunch yet still cooked. I’ve eaten all the potatoes. If more than five stars was possible, 5+

Amazing food and service! We happened upon this gem of a place because almost every other restaurant on the island was closing. Cheston was so friendly and welcoming. We ordered a few beers, brussel sprouts, ribeye and pork tenderloin. Superb! Each dish was so fantastic, we didn’t want to stop eating even though we were stuffed.Definitely coming back next time we’re in the Seattle area!
