This restaurant has an interesting concept; i.e. using the typical sushi conveyor belt and replacing the plate selections with hotpot ingredients! Each customer essentially pays for the base soup ($5-$6 each), and then grab whatever plates they want to share. Fun concept! Ingredients are fresh, and the Lao Spicy Beef broth is flavorful. Staff are very friendly and occasionally check in with us to ensure everything is good. Tables and utensils are all well-cleaned. Because of the ability to share the plates, the bill is cheaper than Boiling Point and about 2 times cheaper than Happy Lamb! Also great that there are plenty other food stalls to choose from in this marketplace. This place is popular, and parking can be challenging during peak hours. But if you're willing to park further, there will definitely be avaliable lots.

Hot Pot was great, ingredients were fresh. It was great to have hot pot with a friend and not have to come to a consensus on what goes into the pot.

Finally tried their nam khao tod and it was delicious! Perfect amount of sourness but it was expensive for the portion given.

Blazing Bowl is a Laotian conveyor belt style hot pot, which is a fairly unique concept and is delicious! My husband and I come here when I'm craving hot pot and he's not. You can have one person do a personal hot pot and other people in the party order a single dish. Their traditional beef hot pot broth is really good, has some similarities to the taste of pho broth. I really like their selection of hot pot items on the conveyor belt. They have some more unique vegetables such as on choy which I have never seen anywhere else but works well in hot pot! Their meats are decent quality and actually are a lot despite being on a small plate.

This spot was so good! Got the spicy soup and it did not disappoint. The revolving plates to add to the soup were great. Will come back here again!

We visited from AZ and seen the reviews for blazing bowl and decided to drive from Seattle to try it. The owners are nice and the vibe was on point. We were thrilled to be eating Lao food in a food court - literally so cool as we do not see much Lao restaurants. Flavor was authentic and spice was Lao spice levels. We ordered papaya salad (they did not hold back on the ba dek, it was so perfect), Kow biek (so yummy), larb beef, sausages nam Khao. Try the Lao Tea with milk - you can taste the tea like it was just brewed (so heavenly)! We will be back to try the conveyor belt hot pot. Such a cool concept for hot pot

The best Lao style papaya salad in the greater Seattle area! When I order 5 star spicy, it also comes out to be Lao rated spicy. I always finish my order and slurp up all the good juices after. If you're Lao, and you do this, that means it's THAT good! The khao pieak noodles are soft and so good. The broth was savoury and delicious! The Nam khao is crispy, and flavourful, and can actually taste the lime juice that goes in it. Also comes with a bunch of veggies for wrap. This is always my go to spot for authentic Lao food. Thanks for sticking to the roots in flavours and not customize to the American palate.
I've walked by this place several times in the crossroads Bellevue food court and decided to try it out. Unlike traditional hot pot places, the hot pot ingredients rotate on a conveyer belt. I got the house beef broth. This is Laos based and not Taiwanese/Chinese style and has a sweet sour profile. The dipping sauce was unique and you can customize all the toppings. It had a fish sauce element. I really liked the daisy crown. I felt the meat could be a bit more fresh. I would probably still choose to go traditional hot pot places to the regular places for the value but if you want solo hot pot this will scratch the itch.

I have never tried the hot pot here, so this review is only for their regular menu. Located in the food court of a small shopping center, you wouldn't expect to find food this delicious. Laotian food is so limited in the area so any time I'm craving a warm hug from a hot bowl of Kao Piak Sen, this is my go to. The nam khao is also good, and Kao poon is not bad either.
positive attitude
The elder waitress was away too nasty, when we asked for 2 sliced lemons in the water, she turned around questioned us" for what" " why you need it?", her tone was not only nasty, her hostile look made you want to stay far sway from this place, in addition, small portion of the dish, dirty plate, it was first time to visit there, will be our last time to visit as well. The short hair lady was kind and nice, hope she can help to train the nasty lady one day. ?
