Excellent food and great service. We waited about 45min to be seated on a busy Saturday (understandable), and it was well worth the wait. Once it was our time to be seated, we were greeted very warmly and taken to our table where our server met us quickly to get drinks and appetizers started.I ordered the chips and salsa, and also got guacamole and QUESO! Try the queso. You’re welcome. For dinner, I went with Steak Fajitas and a Margarita. Excellent. We will be back. Great job, Cactus!
Here is a hard one, we review Mexican a lot as you can never really go wrong with good Mexican food. However not everyday can be a good day.The two stars here goes to the bar staff these two working tonight made it worth wild to sit there and chat and to be honest we do eat often at the bar just seem to get more out of being able to talk with those who work the establishments. We went with suggestions and as the food was edible it was without flavor. The queso had a taste like the dish was not dried out and was served direct from the washer or something as there was a bad dish soap after taste to it.The meat was not seasoned at all which was sad because the meat was cooked right just nothing to work with.We enjoyed the staff and the bar.If you are looking for good drinks and maybe the chips and salsa before doing something else in the area then go in and sit at the bar it will be aGood time and great staff save dinner for another location.
Delicious food & outstanding customer service. Our waitress was awesome!
Overall the food was pretty good! Recommend the chips and salsa. The drinks were also great, especially the Sangria. Was a bit disappointed with the grilled chicken fajita; sort of tasted a bit plastic in a weird way and the beans/rice/tomatoes weren’t the best either. Still recommend checking out!
Our first time visiting Cactus and we were NOT disappointed. The view was awesome! The staff were superb! The food made me want a job in the kitchen to be surrounded by such incredible talent. The food was to-die-for and everyone should dine here if you get the opportunity. They gave us dessert on the house bc it was our first time eating here. Holy wow! What an amazing time! Branson was our server and he was absolutely PERFECT ?! Everything about our time here was exactly what you would expect at a great restaurant. Well done staff! You have an awesome team!
best mexi food in Bellevue!!
The rice is uncooked! The quality of food is not matching the price! They need to level up their game and make better Mexican food!
Amazing. The best mocktails ever. And it seemed like free refills on them. Which is a very refreshing take on the not cocktails. Most places charge the same for the NA version. Crazy. We will return for sure! You have won us over.
Great place with delicious margaritas! Stopped here for some quick bites and had smoked chicken quesadilla and chicken fajitas. The quesadilla was delicious along with the smoky salsa it came with. My husband had the fajitas and the way they were served in a skillet along with the black beans and rice. The dish was okay but not memorable and probably not something he would order again. In any event we were pleased overall and would come back.
Located in the Bellevue square mall, it is easy to miss but one of our favorites to visit every time, we visit the mall with our toddler. Normally walk-ins don't have a wait time around 10-15 minutes. It can get busy on some days. They text you when the table the ready, incase the wait is a little too long we just go to Crate&Barrel next door or Macys and the time passes by pretty quickly. Previously, when we went the salsa and chips were complimentary but that's not the case anymore - that's a bummer but, I guess inflation has hit everyone. :( Chips and salsa are a must here, even if that's means you pay $4. Guacamole both traditional and Austin style guacamole are good. Roasted corn Quesadilla is just so yum, lol I know there can't be much to say about a quesadilla but I have had quesadillas in multiple places and I don't know why this place gets it right. Probably the addition of roasted corn? I can get biased when it comes to corn.. hehe Spiced Caesar was another hit. Large portion, very filling. Grilled Fajitas came sizzling to our table in a skillet with a side of guacamole , sour cream, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo and warm flour tortillas, again a good portion and delicious. Quick tip - we add salsa to our fajitas for added flavor. Then, we end with our favorite guilty pleasure, Churros!! Served warm, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar with a side of melted Mexican chocolate sauce. Sooo good.
Cactus is a a nice Mexican food place in the bell square area! I would recommend this place for a brunch with friends or a date. I ordered the peach Bellini and the steak fajitas and they were both good (albeit the drink was a bit overpriced for the quantity and was a bit sweet).
Drinks and service okay. Had seafood enchiladas. The enchiladas, rice and beans were all really salty. Was not impressed for the price.
The food here was pretty good but a little on the pricer side for what you get. However, the green enchilada was great! The chicken in it was delicious. The service was also great. People constantly checked on us and made sure we were doing okay. It was a little frustrating that they don't do reservations if your group is less than 6 which was a little frustrating, so we waited about an hour for a seat.
Really nice ambiance and good servers. Their Austin style guacamole and nachos are amazing
Probably not a good move to order pick up on a Friday night. For an $18 side order of skirt steak, this is what I got. Plus a fruit bowl. Seafood bowl was good, but all the shrimp are cut in half, they have tiny scallops, and mine didn't come with any fish. I'm sure if I went in to eat inside instead or ordering pick up, food would be be at its full scale. The Alki location is better from my experience.
