Decent cocktails and good vibe. Some of the cocktails were extra small and they had an automatic service charge of 20% even for parties of two which wasn’t mentioned before.

In the last two days I went to civility and Unrest twice after not visiting the establishment for several years. The cocktails are still some of the best one can find in the Bellevue area. We shared several and they were excellent. The food from the sister restaurant @Lakehouse was also yummy. The atmosphere is great, service outstanding and the drinks fabulous. What else can one ask for??

Amazing craft cocktails, but they are tiny! Food is good but the vibe is why you go here. Sexy people and a sexy vibe. ?

Came here with some girlfriends for drinks and dinner. The vibe and decor of the place is very cool, and our waiter (JoJo) was the absolute best (he was very on top of keeping our wine glasses full and helping with taking photos, even a video lol) The cocktails are all one price $22, so it's pretty spendy. The drinks were very unique and had fun presentation. The food was a bit disappointing. I enjoyed the starters (carrots and sprouts), and the wagyu tartare was tasty but maybe a bit too rich with the butter spread they use - which overpowered the meat, but the pastas were very overpriced and had tiny portions. We also ordered the cod which was a super small portion of fish for the price.

A cute little bar, expect to wait a bit if you don’t have a reservation. Just came from dinner and wanted to get oysters and some cocktails. The cocktails were fine, nothing to write about, if you like old fashions you’d probably be happy. The oysters were by far the worst I’ve ever had. Barely finished them, and regret doing that. The sourdough bread was also fine but the butter needs help. Overall, very expensive let down. Go to earls.

Grabbed drinks and fries here with coworkers. The fries were amazing. Our waitress was wonderful, and the staff was friendly. The cocktails were very tasty and not too badly priced for Bellevue.

The atmosphere and the cocktails at Civility & Unrest are perfect. The main downside and annoying side of C&U is the fact they are charging you 20% gratuity as part of the bill, and the waiter/host asks for additional tip for the team! Paying 35-38% tip doesn't make any sense!

Unique place with creative and delicious beverages. The food was delicious. One grumpy bartender, but the other staff was excellent.

A bar up front, a speakeasy in the back. This place has an incredible atmosphere, access to a good kitchen, and amazing drinks. It may be on the expensive side, but good drinks made by experienced bartenders in a downtown area bar are worth it. I look forward to trying new drinks in the future!

Civility & Unrest stands out as a beacon of mixology mastery, and it has swiftly become my favorite cocktail bar in the area. The standout feature of this cocktail haven is undoubtedly the bartenders' commitment to tailoring drinks to individual tastes. On my visit, I had the pleasure of witnessing a mixologist turn the art of cocktail-making into a personalized craft. Not only did they masterfully concoct the drinks, but they also engaged in a brief conversation to understand my preferences.

Civility and Unrest is one of the best places in the Bellevue area to get the right combination of ambience, service and drinks. They treat me like a family which makes it extra special. The food menu is from Lakehouse Grill which is of high quality. The drinks are one of a kind prepared with special touch. The main bar as well as the more speakeasy ambience of the rear bar makes this one of the best places to bring family and friends locally as well as those from out of town.

I’d give less a rating if I could.Turned up. Completely sober.Walked in. Waved to a girl serving . Asked where should we sit … she commented wherever you want.So me and my friend went to sit at the bar.The bar guy ( who I assumed bar manager ) was completely rude . Stated - I need to see your ID as clearly you are intoxicated !I said no I’m not and why . He said as we didn’t obey the “wait to be seated sign “ . Really ?! It was half empty and nobody to great us.. which I stated. But still, he was completely rude . Which resulted in an argument. So we left.Disgusting behaviour from him. No customer care or focus. No idea what his issue was.And we wasn’t intoxicated at all. We hadn’t event had a drink ! Only just checked into the hotel above - awful!!
