The location was changed. Already paid for parking at the other place. Called and texted many many times as their voice mail says. No response. My group and two other groups of women walked around the building of the “old” location for half an hour. There is construction there and they do not allow civilians to walk to the door of where fog rose was supposed to be. After driving to the other address, it was no where to be found. No signs anywhere. Apparently it's in a different bar called Rouge. How the heck were we supposed to know?! The food itself was not good. Eggs were cold. Even some of the teas tastes weird. I've had hundreds of Earl Grays before but this one was off. I do not recommend this place. Very expensive. Poor service. They don't even have a phone at the new location as we later found out.
It's in the rouge lounge!! They didn't have a very obvious sign so I was running around the entire block trying to find it. The lounge vibe is more dark theme so it didn't really match the dainty afternoon tea aesthetic (you'll see the difference on the website and in person) but there's nothing they can really do about the space really. Service was outstanding, presentation was great—food was tasty (the Benedict they had, delicious). Tea was great, temp was consistent. Great cocktail/mocktail selection (separate from afternoon tea set). Would def comeback again with friends!

Afternoon tea was really lovely - all of the food was truly delicious and we brought home leftovers because we could not finish all the desserts. We each had a small beet salad with a light creamy vinaigrette, sliced smoked salmon on top of dill crème fraiche and toast, and poached egg on top of a homemade English muffin bread with a drizzle of hollandaise sauce. All of these savories were surprisingly filling, and we were starting to worry if we would have room for dessert. The orange scones was amazing - they were scented with orange zest and had tiny bits of chopped currants. Very flaky and tender. The sweet part of tea had a spectacular looking dome of mango pastry cream with a mirror glaze on top of a circle of barely sweet chocolate sponge cake and some mango purée. It tasted as good as it looked, and had just the right about of balance between the mango cream and the chocolate cake. We each tried 2-3 different teas. By this point, we were so full that we brought home the blueberry lemon cream puffs and pistachio macarons. There were many small groups of gals enjoying tea and catching up on gossip and a few couples on dates. (Definitely make reservations online.) Light jazz music was playing in the background (downtown Bellevue location on Main Street), but the noise level was pretty subdued so it was easy to have conversations. Would definitely come back for another special treat!

The orange scone was the best I've ever had and every dish on the tea tray was a winner: Dungeness crab benedict, salmon toasty thing, steak thing, rose lychee macaron, blueberry lavender cream puff, and chocolate cake. Not a single mediocre one in the bunch. I love that you don't have to commit to one tea and can try as many as you want. Staff was lovely and vibe was relaxing and beautiful. Will definitely be back.

Kind attentive waiter who was very busy. The prawn didn't taste like much. I'd recommend a dab cocktail suace or a dash of lemon garlic butter to enhance flavor. I'd also love some hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict. The presentation was beautiful and desserts wonderful. I appreciated the gf options. Thank you

We had a very nice “girls tea” at Fogrose. I will say while the new location in Bellevue is larger I miss the decor and sweetness of the old location. The food was beautiful but, I do like more traditional afternoon tea fare. The tea selection was less than what I remember and there was no drink menu as there was in the other location which I found odd. Overall we had a nice nice afternoon all together and the service was very good. I would recommend.

What happened to this place? Please, someone tell me. I'm so sad and disappointed. One, they have moved because rent was expensive, and two, because customers couldn't find them. All were reasonably understanding. I never had a problem finding them, but what's upsetting is that they shrinkflated their menu and food quality. It completely went down the hill as soon as they added 20%! When will people understand that's socialism and it's not going to work for a capitalist functioning business type in America? When you pay your servers this way, the service is abysmal! I only came back because I'd had a lovely experience prior. Their food used to be freshly made and baked. Scones were cold and came with no jam, just butter. The tea was out, so I had to get up and kindly ask for a refill because they no longer left the teapot with me. They downsized on all of it. I could not finish my food and left in a hurry. I went elsewhere as we were sick afterward from the food. What's with the one shrimp salad? So it doesn't go with the tea!!! $75 per person for 4 dinky and bland savory miniscule bites, 3 tiny decent but nothing to write home about sweets, and 2 cups of tea. Sad and sparse list of teas. They impose a 20% gratuity surcharge which made the listed price higher than they post, and had the gall to leave a space for additional tips!?!? Tean was held in a bar which opens later in the day, and we were rushed out so they could free the space for that business. Ridiculously expensive, less than mediocre offerings, in a shabby setting. My advice? Just don't.

Although it was meant to be in a gallery setting, the atmosphere felt more like four or five tables in an empty room with terrible food. The savory tier consisted of a burger bun with chicken mayo salad and a stale scone, and the sweet tier was a raspberry mousse and a cream puff that you can get in local stores. The waiter, Eric (I believe), welcomed us with a reminder that our session included unlimited tea for 45 minutes, but when we asked to switch to green tea, he didn't bother changing the 1/2 filled cup of black tea. The entire experience was below what one would expect from an Afternoon Tea.

The service was attentive and the temporary surroundings were perfect. We look forward to visiting the new location after things settle in and reopen.
Check your location. Luckily I got an email letting me know this was in Kirkland, not Bellevue, or we'd have gone to the wrong place. I adore tea and love how Fogrose lets you try lots of different kinds. Everything was very pretty and nice. I'd ordered vegetarian and they had it already for us. The food isn't the best I've had, but it makes a wonderful treat. Great service and a nice setting. I wish they'd add a little chocolate, maybe next time - I'll definitely be back.

I think it's in poor form to have the tax added on top of the 20% service charge. They were serving their last day so I think the ambiance was not as good as the prior times I went. The food is always delicious here.

Loved the people and the service! Ambiance was lovely! Decor elegant and modern, table setting great, look of the tea tower was lovely. The servers were attentive, offered ability to try all the flavors of tea, delightful complimentary alcohol-free cocktail, and pretty aesthetics. The real wrinkle was....the food was not very good. The pasteries were not flavorful, tasted just generally sweet and waxy - not delightful at all ..I did not finish any of them. I would have preferred a tollhouse cookie from home in a minute. The savory was okay, I liked the tuna salad on crustini and shrimp...but the salmon sandwich was doughy no interesting fresh notes (would love lemon or herb notes) and scone cold and not flaky...with just plain butter - no clotted cream/jam. I LOVE the idea of high tea, they provided the outline of what should have been a delightful one, the teas themselves were lovely, but they really need to review their food flavor profiles soon...not worth the calories.
Our reservation gave us directions to the Bellevue location. I noticed off hand there were pop ups that I wouldn't even had known about had I not looked so I called to confirm the location and no one returned the call. On my reservation it said Bellevue so that is where we went. After I had already paid parking, we found out the location was closed. We tried calling again but again was just sent to voicemail. So we raced to carillon point where they said sorry for the mix up and we were seated. However, I just felt like they couldn't care less about what had happened. There was no “how can we make this right” not even an offer. So that was hugely disappointing. Because of that experience and response it makes me think twice before wanting to do that again.
