Ordered tonkatsu curry, the meat was cut super thin, did not resemble a cutlet whatsoever. Taking advantage of a take out customer.

Finally decided to try this place after seeing it for the last year or two and went with my husband and daughter. My daughter and I both had pasta dishes and my husband had katsu sandwich I ordered a sake and we ordered a side order of gyoza and some pickled vegetables and finished out with two orders of ice cream dessert .. given it seems like a lot of food but in reality the portions were not large , the pasta dishes had no presentation at all just basically thrown on a plate & I was shocked to see our bill came in at about $92.00 . The food was okay but nowhere near was it worth what it cost. For that amount of money will go someplace where we can have sushi and udon in the future.

Extra star for nice service.Got the tonkatsu curry. Comes with a small salad, rice, curry sauce and a good sized portion of pork, all for about $16.Plenty of parking, quick service. Easy peasy to go meal.

I came here after having good memories of a meal from the Hurry Curry in Seattle. We got the mealpak for Seattle Restaurant week which was decent deal considering how many things they give you, though I wish there was another entree instead of so many sides. So we also got a chicken pasta in addition to our katsu curry. The katsu curry was good like I remembered; the cutlet was super crispy and they give you a generous amount of curry sauce so that it's not dry. The chicken pasta took us by surprise though because it was literally just karaage on top of noodles, which were supposed to have white sauce according to the menu but the noodles were really quite flavorless. At least we had the dipping sauce from our karaage which came with the mealpak.

We got the mealpake chicken katsu + chicken spaghetti at the tail end of Seattle Restaraunt week. The mealpak was good (there was a double portion of rice but a normal size of chicken cutlet). I think the mealpak is supposed to serve two, and it definitely would've. However the spaghetti didn't have any sauce even though it said white sauce it was just friend chicken + noodles... Not sure if I'd come again, but it was nice to have a catchup over dinner with friends and it was good for that :)

Cute and quick place!Food was fine, tasty and effective.Service was quick though not sure if there's table service or if it's more do-it-yourself like you bus your own tables or not. You'll have to get your own utensils though.Parking was abundant, very convenient place for shopping.Tonkatsu (pork katsu with rice) was $15 but with Seattle Restaurant week's menu, it was $20 including chicken karagge and salad.Kid-friendliness: Great causal place for family and group diningParking: In an outdoor shopping center so PLENTY of parking. Hurry Curry is next to Subway if you can't find it.

Only thing edible was the gyoza. Bad sauce, bad salad dressing and the curry was just awful - it didn't even taste like curry. It's quite obvious that it was just a frozen bag of veggies thrown in. For the price, there should be fresh veggies and good flavor. Absolutely not worth it.

The katsu curry was tasty. Mild was good but I should have gotten medium.

Chicken pasta was a tad bit dry and there wasn't much flavor. The chilled ramen was a no go, not good at all. The fried chicken was crispy but it was very hard and chewy. The chicken Katsu with curry was just okay, nothing special.

So, so so tasty!!!!! The curry is amazing. For only $15, I got perfect chicken katsu on a bed of rice and a mini side salad with a good dressing. I will be buying this again and again. Yum!

In the mood for some Japanese curry with karage, and I was in the area. I know I shouldn't expect amazing Japanese curry experience and most likely Japanese curry chain (think Coco Curry) level. I was wrong and not in a good way. First of all, the staff were very nice and from the the entry way to the cashier, the place look clean enough. Now on to the not so nice stuff. I ordered an extra hot and a mild karage curry. The karages were...... let's say hard af. Now granted I had a long drive home but man, this really shouldn't have been this hard. Think overcooked breast that might scrape the roof of your mouth. So basically, not good. The white rice that these karages were sitting on had a layer of crust. Like old rice crust, again might be the long trip home but...hard crusty rice are never my jam. Next is the curry, which the mild ones are basically the saving grace for these infernally worse by the minute experience. However (huge however) my extra hot curry was super bitter. Not extra hot, just bitter. And, you guessed it, I don't particularly like bitter curry. Tl;dr: will not be back ever.

Ordered pickup through GrubHub and arrived during the pickup time window. Told order is "probably still in the back", so waited for another 15 minutes. 5 or 6 other customers were able to pick up their order without issue. Asked again and was told they just received the order through GrubHub, some 35+ minutes after initial order. This experience is reflective of an incompetent, inattentive staff, which is likely also the cause of the quality decline other reviewers mentioned. Never again.

We went in around 8:20pm and they already mentioned that that'll be last call since they close the kitchen at 9 pm sharp. Which is fine and we still ate there. But it seems that at 8:20pm that's still a lot of time for a last call though.. anyway when the food came, the curry was good and calamari. But my chicken paste is very bland it's supposed to have a wine sauce but honestly doesn't taste anything aside. I could only taste just normal spaghetti noodles. But thre karaage is good though. The miso soup taste sweet than what i am used to which is salty. Overall though the waitress did mention to me that their food is more on bland side which explains it. Which I guess is fine if that's how they cook it.
