This review is for the Starbucks kiosk in the Safeway at 4th and Bellevue Way in Bellevue. The manager there, David, is super professional, friendly and accommodating. There was a major snow storm, and this was the only Starbucks open in the area. All the others choked, but David showed up and opened the store all by himself. He's great, makes an excellent drink, and keeps the kiosk clean, neat and well stocked. I needed my coffee, couldn't drive because Bellevue can't scrape the streets in a timely manner, and nobody else nearby showed up.

During the past 3 visits to my hometown, I have been staying in Bellevue. This Safeway is very convenient for me to walk from my hotel to this grocery store. Employees are helpful only when you ask for help. A Starbucks is inside as well as hot food from their deli or the Chinese fast food. Plenty of choices for alcoholic beverages and fresh fruit or vegetables at a reasonable price. The parking is free but located in an apartment complex. The self check stations are best to use if yiu are in a major hurry. If you don't have a bar code, you can type in what you have, a picture along with price appears. Watch out for the high school skate boarders who hang out on Friday nights near the side of the store.

This Safeway is one of the nice Safeways. It's an average grocery store, what do you expect. Safeway has lots of groceries and stuff to buy that's essential. The inside is cleaner than the other stores I've been too, staff are pretty nice and helpful, fine service, would recommend.

About average, nice prices, clean and what you expect. Let's get into this, Came in last night for some essential stuff, I usually don't review this type of big chain but after what I found I thought it would be nice. So I found caviar, my wife loves to have it and for a special date night this was the only place that had it in the store. The store was very clean and well organized, the staff was friendly and helpful. I had questions on the sparkling wine and the guy that helped me seemed very knowledgeable on the topic. They also had different types of MAC and JACK beer. All in all it was a very notable experience and one of the best SAFE WAYS in the area. They are following all COVID guidelines with mandatory mask and hand sanitizer out for people to use. The parking is a bit limited so be sure to take advantage of the underground parking)))) I will definitely be back when in need of grocery items.

This is one of the nicest Safeway I've ever been to. There's a parking in the lower level from the store with plenty of parking and big spaces. The store is presented very neatly and nicely labeled for each aisle. If you have a membership card, then you can save a lot of money on various items. The aisle have arrow labels of one way only to decrease overflowing in each aisle and maintain social distancing. I was looking for an item and the staff was extremely helpful by guiding me to the aisle for the item.

Unlike whole food and trader, Safeway got the white chocolate in place! Hell yeah! They only getting 3 starts because there is always homeless outside that scare the hell out of you and ain't make this place fill like a safe way

If y'all haven't ever tried Safeway's chicken dip...... this is the s***** So here is where my disappointment comes from. 2 days ago, my wife and I come in to buy our beloved chicken dip. Every single one was expired. Bummer, but no biggie. Frustrating because this isn't the first time it's happened. So then we tell an employee and he goes..... "ok..... ‍" then walks off. Haha my wife and I started laughing because we just realized this guy gave ZERO shits. So the next day, I come back to this Safeway (as I do 4-5 times a week because I like to cook fresh food) and I take a quick attempt to buy some chicken dip. Every single one of them still expired! Not but days, but weeks. I work in the food industry so this is concerning. I pull another employee and I physically help him pull all of the chicken dips off the floor! I'm most likely going to go in today and I HOPE there is some fresh chicken dip!!! This dip is work it

The manager here is incredibly rude. I tried to use a coupon, but because it was online and not physically printed out, he refused to honor it. They suggested I print it and bring it back with my receipt - mind you were in the middle of a pandemic and 1) that seems like a pretty needless risk to your customer facing employees who then have to handle my recipes and coupon and 2) a risk to your consumer. The man overseeing self checkout apologized but the manager didn't even acknowledge me. He heard my request, said "No" and walked away. Super rude & unhelpful.

This is for the little neighborhood Safeway during COVID-19. The staff are amazing - cleaning baskets, stocking shelves, offering sales on items that are easy to eat, packaging fresh foods (deli meats, salads, hot foods and more!). Speaking of hot food - I have not been eating much in general...it is a pain in the booty during this pandemic. I was really hungry this afternoon, and stumbled upon their delicious hot pot pie. They have chicken and beef (hoping they add in a veggie option soon!). I selected the chicken and veggie - creamy filling, crispy and flaky (top-only) crust...and only $3.99 with my Safeway card. I don't want to think about the calories or sodium, it was just plain fabulous. Step aside, Marie Callender's frozen version - Safeway has you beat! Bonus today - full-sized hand sanitizer - SCORE!

SAFEWAY APP GETS RAP CUZ IT'S CRAP! The downtown Bellevue Safeway is the closest Safeway to me that has "Drive Up And Go", meaning you can order online in advance and pick up your order at the grocery store. This is not a slam of this particular store, but instead it is a big-time diss against the Safeway app. "JUST FOR U" REGISTRATION = NO GO! (C'MON..IS ANYONE SURPRISED?) You have to register for a "Just For U" account on their mobile app first. I ran into problems when I gave the app my existing loyalty card number that I have had for years. Apparently if my current phone number is different from the phone number on my loyalty card, the app just simply will not accept it. And so it refers me to call an 877 number if I have problems. I didn't bother calling that number as anybody who calls customer service with ANY company knows that is an absolute nightmare! 'Nuff said. MASKS NOT NECESSARILY UP TO THE TASK AGAINST AEROSOL ASSAULT Before the present COVID-19 pandemic, that really didn't matter a whole lot as one can just simply drive down to the store to shop the old fashioned way. But now, anybody who's been in a grocery store lately knows that maintaining social distance, especially at the checkout counter, is a life-and-death risky proposition, even WITH everybody wearing a mask (most are unsealed homemade masks). I'M SERIOUS! It's so easy to be looking at a grocery item when somebody suddenly coughs or sneezes right behind you. Remember, people can be asymptomatic for up to 14 days after initial infection. EVEN 6 FT SOCIAL DISTANCE MAY NOT SAVE YOU FROM GOING 6 FT UNDER! Or, somebody could've coughed or sneezed in the aisle five minutes earlier and left aerosols of COVID-19 hanging in the air, before you entered the aisle. Indeed, just talking and breathing indoors can leave ultrafine aerosol particulates hanging in the air well beyond 6 feet from "Ground Zero" for hours! (as opposed to the larger droplets that quickly fall to the ground within 6 feet). Hence, this is why I want to take advantage of Safeway's "Drive Up And Go" store pick-up service, which may now be necessary just to survive! NOW A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH! So when are grocery stores ever going to be serious about making apps THAT ACTUALLY WORK?! Before this pandemic, one could just laugh it off if Safeway, Kroger, and other grocery store executives hire hacks to write the code for their apps, or promise to take their kids to Disneyland if they create the apps for them. But now, it is a matter of life and death, especially for older people who have underlying conditions. I rant so much about this because just recently I had a failed experience with the QFC app! ATTN: MGT OF GROCERY GOLIATHS, GET YOUR GREEDY HEADS OUT OF YOUR COLLECTIVE SLASH AND BURN ASSES AND GET SERIOUS RE: YOUR APPS, BEFORE COVID TAKES YOU DOWN LIKE DAVID!

We routinely walk to this Safeway as well as QFC as we live downtown. I have to say, going to this location has become very uncomfortable due to all the homeless/panhandlers hanging out at the entrances. Last night there were 5 of them, all grown men, verbally begging. Luckily I was with my husband but I definitely will not be going to this store alone at night anymore.

Fix your U-scans! And put employees with better customer service skills in this area. I don't appreciate having to wait for a wondering employee to come over and help me with your delegate buggy/error ridden scans. Especially a big grumpy poor attitude male employee trying to give me his lousy attitude, because he is asked by the scanner to fix a problem. How dare I flag him over to help me out. Like what is he there for? If you don't like dealing with the public go find another job. I like this Safeway too! It's sad how a few employees with bad attitudes can absolutely ruin it for the rest.

It seems silly to have a favorite grocery store but I do. And this safeway is my favorite. Admittedly it used to be walking distance from my old apartment complex which is a huge added bonus. However, even after moving away, I still drive to this safeway for a full grocery store run. They often have great discount/clearance prices on meat and other miscellaneous items. The staff have always been helpful and pleasant.

For the second time I've stopped in to grab a few things and try to grab some items at the deli. The first time I was seen and ignored until I asked for help and ended up only ordering one item cause it took so long and the guy slapped my deli meat in a bag sloppily not stacked. Second time today I went in again, no one in sight until someone peaked over and again I had to asked to be helped. This time just needed some cheese sliced for burgers. Easy enough right? Wrong... dude asked twice what I wanted and when he finally had it in his hands he wasn't sure what to do with it. I walked away pissed and still needing cheese. I'm not sure why there is a deli department at this location as it is useless.

Their starbucks kiosk only had one girl this morning, so I feel they're understaffed. Their fresh cut though is quality over quantity. I used to work at another Safeway location, so I know how hard it is to find the right fruit to use for fresh cut and make enough to almost fill the STANDS. Their fresh cut was very full in the STANDS and looked beautiful! Fresh Cut shelf looked barren. Could've heard crickets, it was so empty. There's some unfortunate guy sleeping in the food area and the tables are a mess though. But I'm starting to think every safeway has a guy sleeping there and crumbs/stains all on the tables.
