We go to the place and the taste is good, I like the liangpi and paomo, they are so tasty, I highly recommend it.

The prices at this place have gone up a lot while the portions have severely dropped down. This small jar of spicy beef hot sauce cost more than $15. At least, you would expect to be able to eat it after you bought the food at a restaurant. I bought this on Monday and kept it in the refrigerator; I opened it two days later and this is what it looked like. It's moldy! How can you sell something that you might keep in your freezer for months or even longer? Definitely don't recommend this place!

$18 for 2 Bun. It's insane. You can get way better food with much lower price somewhere else. Save your money

I'm really surprised by the rating of this place. I have dined in at their UW location and we really liked that place so we decided to give this place a try even though it has bad reviews. We did take out and we ate it about a hour later. Overall I would say the food is good. We got their hand pulled noodle with hot oil. The taste is very similar to the UW location. We added extra noodles and beef. I would say you can skip out on the beef since it's was little bit too salty for me. We also got their plum spare ribs and this is a must try. It's exactly like their UW location. The meat is super tender and there is a lot of plum flavor to it. Trust me, their other food might be average but this dish is good. I'm no expert on northern Chinese food but for me, the flavor was there and it tasted great. Just have an open mind about it. I saw a lot of complaints about the service. But for my experience it wasn't bad. We ordered at the machine and got our ticket. Went to get HK boba tea in the same plaza and by the time we came back, our food was packed and ready for us on the counter. Overall, I'm giving this place a 4/5 stars just for the convince of not having to drive to UW from Bellevue to get Xian food. Plus the food was honestly pretty good.

It's not authentic. The meat bun has way too much fat and doesn't taste like the real thing. The steamed buns are tasteless other than spicy. Overall bad experience. I also had upset stomach afterwards. When I was waiting for my food, the front food prep guy dug his ear using bare hand and without washing his hand he went to prep food right away (he doesn't wear gloves).

I would give it a 0 star if I could. I ordered extra noodle for my noodle soup and I found out it came with NO noodle at all. I am SUPER annoyed, please train your employees better, I've never had anything so ridiculous happening in my life.

Taste of Xi'an is located in the Food Court of Asian Family Mart. We're fairly new to the area and saw this place while grocery shopping, so we decided to try it out. I've actually tried something very similar to the toasted beef cumin bun in NY and the flavor is very on par. One bite and it's bursting with flavor, Oh! and be careful of it spilling on your shirt as the meat is pretty oily (as shown on the bag in the photo). The bread was just a little dry for my taste (not sure if that's how it was suppose to be) but all in all I really did enjoy it.

The portion needs to be at least 50% bigger. I ordered the cold noodle. The taste was ok, but the size was more like an appetizer for me.

If you want to get your day f***** up, come here. I was brought up in northeast China and is crazily craved for authentic northwestern Chinese food. I ordered beef stirred noodle, it was just super sweet and salty, I asked the server to re-do it, but there is almost no improvement, the cook was saying some cursed word when asked to redo. I also ordered red tree branch lamb skewer, and there it is not f****** skewed by the red tree branch, this is f****** scam and not acceptable! Lastly, I can't taste out lamb, are they really using lamb meet, nobody knows!

Worst food we had on the west coast. I wish there were zero star rating. We went there because of the name XiAn, but the food are just cheap fast food in tiny amount with greedy high price tag. Ruined our lunch experience.

If there's no star I would give it. Terrible customer service. I ordered at 12:42pm for just a cold noodles, which I know it's usually pre-packaged so I wouldn't need to wait for a long time. But I patiently waited for 20 minutes and my order number never showed up as ready. I even saw a lady from the restaurant that went to drop off a stack of the exact same noodles at the nearby Asian Family Market ready-to-go area. There was this young man looking at his device at the counter, not sure if he was really working to be honest. I couldn't wait any longer so I went up and asked him about my order. He was impatient and didn't even apologize for the delay since the food has literally been sitting there for 15 minutes waiting to be called. Just terrible. I like their cold noodles but unfortunately I would recommend just buy the pre-packaged version in AFM instead of ordering and picking it up from this restaurant. Their customer service is a joke. Seriously.
