Hands down my favorite place to eat in Bellingham. Food is fantastic! Beer even better and the staff is welcoming, friendly and attentive.

So so beer, OK food and very loud. If this is what you like go for it. The clientele seem a bit clicky if not snobby.

Great beer, great food, and a great atmosphere!

We were absolutely beyond satisfied with our first experience here. Incredible fare & brews. Mac & cheese, pear & brie grilled cheese and a burger I forget the name of, but it had delicious little fried onions on it. Genuinely one of the best food outings we have ever had. We did not expect the food to be THIS good.. we will make the 2 hour drive here again asap just to eat here again soon. Service and atmosphere were just as wonderful as the food, too. 10/10

We stopped in for an afternoon beer, and enjoyed their selection. The only reason for a 4 star rating was it smelled a little fishy as a whole. Friendly staff though and a good time

I had an excellent Mac n cheese at boundary Bay. I asked to add brisket, which was amazing, but was not told it would be an $11 upcharge. It was probably an $11 worth of meat, but still a charge I'd like to know about beforehand. My partner's french dip had dry bread and dry meat, it was decidedly subpar. I had a rye whiskey drink with maple syrup and chocolate bitters that for some reason had sugar settled on the bottom of the glass. It was tasty, though, even though I'm not really a dark liquor person. The portions were very average. Service was ok, we felt forgotten about a couple times.

I always enjoy the food here. There was a bit of a wait, but they texted our phone to let us know when the table was ready which was nice. We were seated pretty quickly. The art on the walls was from a local artist and it was perfectly seasonal and fun to look at the collection. Lots of beer options, cedar dust was our choice with wine. The salmon chowder Soup & salad combo is my staple. It did not disappoint. We also ordered some desert; the carrot cake and pecan pie was pretty good, no complaints! Seeing friends or people you know around town here makes the experience even better. This place is great and the servers are friendly! Thanks BBB cheers to the next time!

Used to love the menu at boundary bay..recently the quality has become significantly worse...service went down hill too. Sorry to say lost this customer for good. Beer? mehhh..plenty of better beer in this town.

We arrived between rushes and had a brief wait, service was rather limited but we thought the food was delicious - grilled fish tacos and pear/brie grilled cheese! I didn’t love my cider but my husband’s porter was fantastic! Not sure this place earned its #1 rating in our experience as we felt a bit crammed in (definitely no social distancing) and they were so busy that we didn’t see much of our server. Other than that, would recommend for the food and drink and isn’t that why you go out to eat?

Great atmosphere. Awesome beer selection. Food portions are large. I had the fish tacos and they were delicious.

I am sitting at the table writing this... i could not wait. The beer selection , amAAZing. We are having the Northwest Original IPA and Cranberry Ginger Cider. To eat we had pan fried wings and the Hella OMG Mother F'n best I've ever had Corn bread. It slices like an light airy cake . Followed by the steamy traditional "i love you" Beer Beef Stew. I can't recommend this spot enough. Worth the 2 hr drive. Cornbread pieces to go!! If you are in Bellingham, you must stop by!

Ended up here on a hum bug, of all days, on my birthday!!! whoop whoop.. what a nice fine this was. Everything happens for a reason, I truly believe that, so with that being said.. the food and beer was great. Got a boat with 6 different kinds of beer. I had the server pick out my selections. Food was really tasty, ribs where tender, beans and corn bread where awesome. Definitely recommend!!

Good food and beverage down by the water! Parking can be a challenge but there's lots to see and do around this area so plant for a while and see what there is to see while you're here! I made a reservation for 7 people and then edited it to 3 people an hour before we were set to have dinner. We went from having an outdoor table to getting stuck inside. Luckily there were tiny patio tables out front (but where there aren't any space heaters!) They should have accommodated us since we had an outdoor reservation for weeks before the Monday night reservation. My coworkers were pretty cold out on the patio as it took awhile for someone to come take our orders. We all ordered the chowder and were pleased with them. Next time I'll just order chowders to go if they can't accommodate our small party outside where there are heaters.

Waitress straight up hit me with a table she was moving and didn't say anything even though it definitely had reverb since it snagged on my side. All 4 of my party ordered sandwiches and they took over an hour to come out and were soggy. Giving 2 stars because I've been here before and the food was good then.
