I was here in the afternoon waiting for the Point Roberts ferry. Too bad they're only open for breakfast.

This is an extremely generous review considering my rather negative experience with the service here. I found the food to be decent. The chicken artichoke sandwich was pretty good and the fries were actually really good. Just off those two items I'd give them four stars. However, my kids didn't touch their burgers and the service was a bit rude. Since I appreciate them being open during a pandemic, I'm not docking any stars for my negative experience here but I will mention it in my comments below I'm case they want to be more careful about how they treat customers moving forward. I realize kids can be fussy, so I'm not knocking this place for the fact that they didn't touch their food. However, I ordered two kids hamburgers, which came with a ton of cheese on them. Instead of having them re-make the burgers, I figured I'd get a plastic knife and try to take care of it myself. When I asked for the knife, I told them it was to remove the cheese from the burger which I didn't realize it would have. Shortly after, I heard the gentleman in the back under his breath saying "who ever heard of a hamburger without cheese?!" I don't think he realizes the difference between a Hamburger and a Cheeseburger, but spoiler alert: one has cheese on it and the other doesn't!Note that I tipped 25% for my meal, then 100% for the order of fries they originally missed, so not sure why the attitude about me trying to salvage the meal instead of asking them to fix and pay for their mistake. Since I do appreciate them being open during such challenging times, I'm giving them a more generous rating than usual.

I need to tell y'all about the gyro I chanced upon in Ferndale last night. It was craaaZzy good! All the flavors were perfectly balanced. The meat which was plentiful was so tender! I will seek out this food truck from now on. Go and support this small business and others like it right now. ... I said GO!!!'

Streat food down at the Alaska Ferry Terminal is a little gem in the city. It's small with a limited menu but the food is fresh and delicious and the view overlooking the water can't be beat!

Excellent all around. Consistently high quality food and service, even when overwhelmed. Their website is favorited so I can follow their truck schedule. So good!

Best Veggie Burger in town, folks! Great people watching when the Alaska Ferry is in port. Look at specials board for some really spectacular items! You can't make a bad choice here...not one of our regular places because it's not exactly around the corner..check hours as they are limited at this location.

I have loved Streat Food since they opened, consistent food and delicious new creations. However: I recently had a terrible experience with one particular employee that was enough to stop my continued support. Was picking up a called in to-go order of fries and the employee slammed the window in my face stating they were closed before I had a chance to even speak. One: I was picking up an order already called in. Two: They weren't closed. I had to walk around to the pick-up window and pay for my order. I should have just left. Not good. This particular employee has never been super friendly, but that topped it all.

i had streat food for the first time recently while their truck was at wander. we ordered a large fries and the veggie burger, and i can't stop thinking about them! the burger is made with potatoes and quinoa, has a radish slaw on it, and doesn't make you feel heavy after eating it, but refueled and ready for anything! the fries are sooo crispy, exactly what i want in a fry. they were hot, not too salty, and the large serving was perfect for two people to split (although i'm sure i would have eaten them all myself!). our food came out in a timely manner, and the people working were so kind. i can't wait to eat here again!

The food at their storefront location is delicious so long as you catch their cook in a good mood... if you don't, prepare to hear a string of loud cursing from the kitchen and a puddle of eggs that was supposed to be your breakfast sandwich leading to minor food poisoning later... I talked to the lady who works the front about this issue a month or two ago and she said they had talked to the cook about the attitude and things were better but I can't risk going back knowing the same person is still preparing the food...

My family and I were in Bellingham for a wedding and we decided to stop at Wander Brewing Company and were very happy to find the Streat Food Truck parked outside. I ordered a Streat Burger (which went really well with my beer!) and my wife ordered a veggie burger. This was the BEST veggie burger that my wife and I have ever had, plus it tasted nothing like the frozen or commercial veggie burgers you find at grocery stores. We still talk about how good that veggie burger was. I am not some sort of veggie burger connoisseur, but I love burgers and this was one of the best despite having no meat in it. Some might call that blasphemy, but you need to try the burger first.

Awesome food. Terrible service. The lady with purple hair acted like I asked her to use an abacus when I asked her for a receipt. I told her it was so I could expense for work and she told me "tell your work they're idiots". Not sure if she's the owner, if not, the owner should know how rude she is to their customers. Like I said though, great food. The chicken artichoke sandwich is to die for.

I'd love to see this little cafe in a better space. I don't know why but people thoroughly trash the ferry terminal. Often they are cleaning up messes that weren't made by customers it seems based on what the messses were made with.
