The coffee is okay.... but what got me was the customer service.... absolutely HORRIFIC!! I don't know if they have trained their employees how to be KIND and CONSIDERATE during a pandemic but it sure did not seem like it... a classic hipster human behind the cash register literally barked at me across the room to pull my mask up further ok my face, all while helping another customer?... very concerning and awkward for over half of the customers were NOT WEARING MASKS! They were NOT eating or drinking coffee at their tables.... just chatting... I felt completely singled out besides the other person also Wearing a mask who was a young black male.... I found this experience so distasteful and inhospitable I will NOT be going back.... I have been going to this coffee shop for 10 years straight since I moved to Bellingham in 2012 for school at Western... this has me feeling not like my local kind coffee house exists... some bullshit hospitality for celebrating 50 years... Thank you if you have read this far, Love and kindness ALWAYS!

This place sucks ass lol the baristas were so rude. 0/10 would not recommend unless you want your day ruined! Keep it up Tony's.

Being on a three-week road trip, we were often faced with American-sized "hearty" breakfasts. Mounds of eggs, toast, mixed meats, etc. While fun in the moment, we later suffered "breakfast regrets." Such cannot be said for Harris Avenue Cafe. Set in the old part of town, surrounded by a truly eclectic array of fascinating shops and works of art, its exterior and interior fit right in. The best way to describe them is "real." Real people serving real people who are eating real food. What I enjoyed most about the cafe was the size of the portions. When they sacrificed in girth compared to traditional American breakfast shops, they more than made up in flavor. While it was a busy Sunday shift, we never felt hurried. We got to eat and converse at our pace. This cafe has it all figured out.

Their coffee beans are my favorite. The location is perfect. However, the baristas can be quite unfriendly and even abrasive at times. Espresso drinks are only made well 50% of the time at best. It's stressful times for everyone, but many other places manage to keep their baristas in relatively good spirits. Even before the pandemic, I have found their customer service to be some of the worst in town.

We are from Seattle and have an espresso machine at home with which we make espresso and cappuccinos every morning, and Tony's has long been our coffee of choice. It was therefore fun to visit the home base of the roaster in the Fairhaven District of Bellingham and have a delicious cappuccino made by them. Also bought a pound of beans of their 50th anniversary blend which have since enjoyed at home. We also had breakfast next door at the the Harris Avenue Cafe, which serves huge and delicious breakfasts.

Unfortunately didn't have a great experience, two out of three sandwiches in our takeout order were not correct (wrong sandwich altogether for one, and side forgotten for the other) and we didn't realize until we were home. Sweet potato fries were way too salty. The sit down breakfast at Harris Avenue is great but likely won't do Tony's for takeout again.

I had a delicious sugar free mocha that was made with Stevia! It is so nice to have alternatives like this when you’re Diabetic! Yes, I would recommend this place!

I was fortunate enough to receive a few thoughtful holiday gifts this year via mail and Tony's coffee was one of them! It is widely known I enjoy coffee and I got two bags delivered to my door and a Tony's Coffee mug. One is a single origin Ethiopian coffee and the other is a medium blend. Both are quite tasty and I was very impressed to see the roast date was within a week of delivery. It was also quite a nice touch to include a brewing guide. It covered a variety of brewing method from pour over to drip brewer with easy to follow instructions and information. Pretty sweet gift and customer service.

The most delicious Americano!

Lick your plate delicious. Seriously a must visit. In house pickles that are blue ribbon worthy and asparagus instead of fries. Really who does that. :)

I will definitely be back soon to this place for my breakfast or even a lunch. So great even in times of viral challenges. I sat outside in the sweet garden at my table looking at trees and relaxing under a red umbrella. The breakfast was magnificent and the waitstaff very good.

I was excited to visit Tony's as they are my colleges coffee supplier. The cafe is quite expensive but very cute and the baristas are friendly. There are a few options for food, including soups and meals as well as pastries. The atmosphere is perfect for studying!

Not super quality. Dirty stinky water glasses, in general things seem filthyer than need be.

I often buy beans from here. They are fresher than the ones at my local store, and they have a good decaf that isn't super dark. The cafe itself is a decent place to get a cuppa and have a conversation with a friend or coworker.
