Tuna tataki and seaweed salad were great, garlic tonkotsu ramen was average. (Our usual go to spot Yua Ramen in Edmonds is slightly cheaper and way better for ramen, and wonderful customer service even when they’re busy). This restaurant has plenty of seating and has inviting owners. We only tried the ramen which was flavorful and the pork belly was the star of the show. The broth is flavorful and filling. I was kind of surprised by the lack of vegetables though. Food comes out kind of slow but it is hot and fresh. Plenty of parking.

The cherry trees are falling and I missed them. I thought I would just go in and get some food. Instead encountered a delicious, fresh, affordable and beautiful veggie rice bowl and an eternally blooming cherry tree with very powerful, awe-inspiring Samarai pictures. Didn't feel so sad. Thanks for that J Ramen. At least there is one place I can go for cherry trees until the real ones come back. Didn't know about that veggie bowl dish before either, yum yum.
